i hate it when i get lack of sleep because of doing so many things that are important such as school works and stuffs. but whenever i get the chance to sleep, i cant sleep. maybe because it became my habit and is really hard for me to sleep early. it really annoys me. have you experienced like this? what do you think i can do to avoid this? happy mylotting everyone!

I used to sleep early. By the time it's 9pm nobody could budge me anymore. I went to bed at 8 and started drifting off by 8:30. However, nowadays, I see myself getting into bed at 10 or 11 and start drifting off by 12 or 1 am and then wake up at 6:30. I so got used to sleeping late and waking up early that I couldn't get myself to sleep before 10 anymore!

ever since i started college, i usually get a maximum of 3 hours of sleep daily including naps in between the day. some people say that im overly stressed out. i was able to overcome this and got back to my normal sleeping pattern when i tried to go to bed at a specific time of the day, leaving everything behind. like putting any kind of distractions away from me. its hard, but i got used to it.

Hi, So far, I seldom lack of sleep unless my son is fall sick. Then i will have sleepless night till he is fully recovered. Especially when fever comes and attacks my son, almost whole night I won't sleep well because I have to wakeup every hour to monitor his body temperature. Apart from that, I always have enough sick because it helps to keep my body healthy .

You need to have a break. You need to release yourself from thinking about all the things that you are doing. You need to find time for yourself to relax and forget about work and anything that worries you.

Well you can always adjust to it but its hard since you need time , when you have free days don't sleep at night or sleep just a little and start sleeping early and i think you will adjust to it in time . Well thats how i do it i often change my sleep time .

I've had problems with insomnia off and on since I started college. As a result, I've been off and on a prescription sleep aid. Right now I'm back on. I'll think that I'm okay for a few weeks and then there will come a night where I won't be able to sleep at all. I've gone more than 48 hours without sleep before, and not for lack of trying. I've just been really stressed out, and being unable to sleep aggravates the stress. I'd love to tell you how to defeat insomnia, but I really haven't defeated it myself yet. But some of the best methods for getting to sleep that have helped me have been to drink warm milk or warm tea to relax, and to exercise more during the day.
