I still know people I was friends with over 10 years ago however I'm only in touch with them via Facebook. Even though I am older now and have children and responsibilities, I still like to think back on the "good times" I had when I was partying with my old mates =D What about you? Are you still friends with people you knew over 10 years ago?

Now THAT is a friendship and a half! There was a girl in my class at High School who had a friendship like that - it was truly amazing, in a good way of course! =D

Yes, actually I am a person who pay attention to the friendship. If we are good friends, then I will keep it in my mind although we don't often meet or talk with each other. Our relationship won't change because of the time or location. I do have some good friends who have known over 10 years. I love China

I still have quite a few friends that I've known since my childhood. Some of them I've known for more than 20 years. We don't get to see each other a lot because of the distance and our busy lives but we do still keep in contact with each other. It's great when we have one of our rare get togethers though. We always end up reminiscing about the "good old days" and all the crazy things we did as a kid. And the good thing about these friendships I have is that they are strong and I know they will last for many more years to come.

hi, I am still in touch with my school friends, school friends from age 5 that is from my kinder garden. We still try to meet once a year and we wish each other on our birthdays etc. But not with every one in the class, with friends in the class. We share very good relation and we feel so nice about looking at our childhood pictures too. It is possible but not with all those who we know, but with very few of them. Happy Mylotting Calpro.

hi mortysmadhouse haven't you heard newfriends are silver, but old friends are gold, throw out the pennies but keep the new and the old. yes I have friends from ten and twenty years back, why not? I do not throw away new friends or the old either. can never have too many friends.

Oh, I didn't 'throw' my friends away, it's just that my road with life took so many twists and turns in so many different directions (especially in the last 10 years) that a lot of them kind of got 'lost' along the way. Thankfully, they are all very happy that I 'survived' and made it through such a difficult part of life ;-)

I am only still friends with the best of best friends from that long ago. Everyone else just fell to the wayside I guess. The good ones though, they are real keepers, and I would never let them go!

Ten years ago I was in the primary school and I got 2 or 3 very close friends. But years passed, I'm in the university and they went to work instead of taking further education. So last year when we met again and talked, I found we are living in the different dimension of the society so I felt we were not so closely related to each other any more, and I was not able to find anything in common to talk about. We were both very embarrassed. They are just no more than their names in my heart now, which is so sad but inevitable..

Too true =( When I went off to Business College, I was amazed at just how big the divide was between me and the ones who chose not to further their education and ended up unemployed. 18 months later and the divide was even bigger - I had a Govt job and they were single Mum's (not that there's anything wrong with that, it just wasn't for me, LOL!). Thank you for sharing =D

No, not really. I don't keep in touch with my grade school friends. The large problem is that I never really had friends to hang out with outside of school. I would only talk to people at school, and I didn't form lasting friendships which is kind of sad. I know some people at my school hold reunions and they get about a dozen girls together at one time. I think that's nice. I am facebook friends with a few of them.

I wasn't really a 'people person' back when I was younger as I was a bit afraid (for want of a better word) of my classmates. However, I must have made a big impression of nearly all of the people I came into contact with as they all remember me really well - all good, thankfully =D Thanks for sharing =)

People tend to remember me too even though I have trouble remembering them. Sometimes I won't even recognize their face. I have people facebook me that I do not recognize. I don't want to admit it though and normally end up friending them.

Yes I am still friends with the people I've known since I was a child. My classmates who became my good friends over the years since I was in preparatory school or kinder prep., I still have communication with them up to now. It's really amazing to look back at the times when we're still kids. We have lots of memories together. :) We actually were just notified by an old friend that there is going to be a reunion for our gradeschool batch by the end of this year. I would love to go and see the old faces of classmates and long-lost pals. :)

I had lost touch with most of my family friends from when I was a kid due to the Gulf invasion. It was very sudden and we were on vacation then. I also lost touch with my classmates from high school. I was in touch with a few of them because we were from the same place and we also settled down in the same city later. But thanks to Facebook, I am in touch with some of my friends from 20-25 years back...wow!! And also some classmates from primary school who I don't remember except their names and faces. Now we've re-connected all over again.

Well, actually no... I have contacts with my old friends of Primary school, due to Facebook. But actually I don't go out with them. If I meet them, I say "Hello, how are you?" for a while, but we don't phone each other and we don't have frequent contacts.

That's similar to me however that would be going back quiet a few more years ;-) But when I am in that part of the country (which isn't very often), I always keep an eye out for them =)
