Hi siliguri, what exams you are writing? i can suggest you to read primary school books where you can really learn a Good English with Grammar. And also you try to read your own books for which the exams you are going to write, so that you can learn English and as well as subject too. Read any of your study books like stories then the sentence and the matter will be understood by you easily and also when you are presenting the same you will get remember those whatever you have read. Actually this kind of things should come from our 10th standard if you are a convent educated student then i wouldn't think you will have a problem or else we have to struggle a little bit to learn a other languages. I am addicted to books and I read read read a lot but it doesn't feel like it improves my English writing skills. Sure, it helps me improve my English writing and reading but not on a major level. I still want to achieve a certain a level of fluency that I know I can't achieve solely by reading. I think Mylot is a good way to improve your writing. You can learn from the way other members write. I emulate the way other members speak and I think it helps me to speak and write better.

My only advise is for you to just read good books, books written by good authors and you will learn writing like a breeze. Reading is the best way to learn the art of writing.
