In some countries it is very rude to ask someone about his income or how much money he brings into the family. In my case I get bothered when people asks me this and I don't really want to talk about how much money I get into my bank account. I consider this question very confidential and too personal. However, if somebody would ask how much money i'm earning from mylot, I don't consider it personal because such question is not private since people can definitely check how much one can earn from here.

True that this question is eventually rude. asking someone how much money you earn is like asking someone about his/her private life. For me, asking this question will be rude and one way to know approximately, just observing people's life, you can guess how much they earn from their work.

Yes the dreaded question of how much you are financially worth. I get that question every single time I go to my families house in Mexico. To me it is really rude and I don't really like to talk about how much I earn or don't earn. I think personally there are loads of better things to talk about than how much I can make in one month or in one year. It is sad for me to be asked that question because I feel that they are only interested in that part of me or want to look down on me because I might now make what they expect. I think even here on mylot I would not let someone know how much I make because it is just rude to me.

Not only its rude but also theres no word for it. There is rules that never to ask or talk about finance especially its the first time. IF we do that we might give wrong impression of ourselves.
