Can You Generate Free Electricity At Home?

With the recent climatic changes bringing about some phenomena like the commonly called 'global warming', man is searching for cheap or free alternative means of generating energy. Is there such a thing as free electricity? My view is that nature has always provided us with water, the sun, wind and earth itself as free sources of energy. The monthly bills we pay to the electricity company cover their operational costs of supply like paying staff among other liabilities and also to make profit. There is nothing wrong with this. However, the cost of electricity has been rising hence forcing people to seek other means such making their own electricity at home. Is this possible? Again my opinion here is yes, you can make your own electricity in your backyard or garage. Here in the internet there's a vast sea of information on how you can easily build a cheap generator that will use the sun, wind or magnets to produce electricity. Blogs like godgivenenergy.blogspot.com offer some tips. If you were to make one of those generators, which one would you go for? I would go for a magnetic generator since the sun and wind can be subjective to certain geographical regions of the earth. What is your opinion?

Yes I agree with you that solar panels could be a bit on the higher side on cost. Only big companies and governments can harness electricity from water that is by building dams to collect water and drive big turbines to produce hydroelectric power. This is why I like to lean more on electromagnetic generators that one can easily build at home. The amount of electricity a magnetic generator can produce will depend on the size of the magnets and how you build it. Furthermore, magnetic energy is environmentally friendly since their are no pollutants. Also it is safe to operate and can therefore be placed anywhere in the house, farm or factory. One think to do is to have solar panels for different companies and factories. This will help to reduce the electricity. Also, I think solar lanterns will help to reduce the cost of electricity. Solar lanterns cost less and can be used in the homes.

Yeah, I'd like to do that. I think it is very possible, but for lay people like me, we just don't know how. The heat of the sun nowadays is just too much. Maybe we can capture it or use it to our advantage by using it to power our house needs. The question is, how?

The technical jargon involved when one thinks of building their own power generator is scaring. However, if you have interest, you can join forums, chats, blogs, read articles, plans and download freely available information in the net about different ways of building different types of generators. You may want to build a solar power, wind power, or magnetic generator, it all depends on you. You can learn or you can do the research and then get help of a local techie to help you. Still, when you get confident enough, you can buy an authoritative, expert, and in-depth guide on how to do this. By regulating the use of existing electricity supply one can save a lot of electricity. If one is careful and conserves energy the conserved energy would be sufficient to feed the entire universe and not just the world.

Very true. Conservation is the mother of all. We are now installing energy saving bulbs, self-regulatory fridges among other things. Shutting off unused electric appliances could be seen a small thing but could go a long way in saving seeping power. Yeah conserved energy could replace the backward trend of energy wastage.

Well we are living most of our time at a summer camp that has running water and electricity. We generate it with solar panals and we get enough in order to run a tv and a portable heater. We have 2 woodstoves as well to generate heat and we are quite confortable up there. It is so peaceful in the wilderness away from the sounds of the city.We try to conserve electricity alot and only turn on use power when we absolutely need to , when we do not need to we just use solar power. It really is quite nice and we have hot showers to even during the winter months.

It is very encouraging to learn that you are conserving energy to the best of your abilitiy and using renewable, cheap and green solar power. What alternatives do you use those times when the sun doesn't shine as strongly as it should? I'm certain that at certain times even some summers don't have enough sunshine. Scientists tell us that our universe is currently shifting and we are witnessing shifts in normal weather patters. Have you ever ventured into other ways of generating energy like the possibility of magnets?

Solar energy, wind mills, water, all this are source of free electricity. However, the electricity generate from such sources are not adequate to need the ever increasing demands. There is one source which is cleaner and that is nuclear. Everyone knows the danger of it. One false move and the area will be devastated. Unless someone comes out with a safer way to tap it, I am afraid we will be sticking to oil and coal.

Nuclear power is extremely dangerous, I agree with you. One only needs to remember the Chernobyl disaster and see what nuclear can do. Why are you focusing on nuclear only? Yes, solar, wind, and water are limited or restricted to certain conditions. Ever thought of magnetic energy? This is the idea of building a magnetic generator using magnets, coils and some other locally available material at cheap rates. The internet has all the information, manuals, how-tos, plans and guides that can give you step by step instructions on how to built one. However, before buying or implementing any of the advice given, do your research well. Read customer reviews, recommendations, and not forgetting critics before starting out. Excellent! Finally someone is on the same wavelength. Heavily subsidized solar power is not the answer. The full set-up will take 25 years over here just to recover the money we spent on doing it! Wind power is even more inefficient. Radiant energy, like Tesla used in his Colorado Springs experiments, will recharge batteries extremely fast & make the battery "better than brand new". Tesla's work has been carried on these days since the 1970's by Tom Bearden, John Bedini & a few others. My discussion will give you all the links you need. You can build this from Junk box parts for near-nothing & have full, free online support from many others who have already built & tested a working unit thoroughly. I've seen your links & it looks like what you've bought isn't for free, nor is there much support available, nor is it by those who have built & tested working prototypes. John Bedini has built his first one in 1984 & it's still running. Numerous others have been built over the years & have been shown at the Free Energy Convention just held in the USA. Check all the links : http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2409876.aspx Welcome to My Lot

The cost of generating electricity is very high in our place for solar energy. I think solar energy should be utilized in big companies to generate electricity. If there were some support and some homes were given free solar house system to generate electricity it would be great. I think is a good idea to put solar, wind, water and other machines to generate electricity in different places to produce electricity.

Yes solar power is good option but is very costly and time consuming. If suddenly the sky becomes cloudy the solar panels may not have enough energy to generate power. All is dependent on Sun and that is why though the system is there many countries are still not adapting it. However the benefits is there too refer to this link http://www.boddunan.com/component/content/article/63-electronics/13806-solar-power.html

I thought you were providing us some ways to build and use a great generator. This website you submitted is really good, but I think more energy efficient motors and generators are only going to be available within 5 to 6 years. The cost of buying solar panels that will generate enough energy for the TV set to stay on for 2 hours is about 2 to 5 thousand dollars. There are countless companies that are competing to produce the most energy efficient batteries. In fact, a battery that can power a whole house is within our times. Right now, the only purchasers are multi-billion dollar companies like Adobe. The workers say that more efficient and less costly generators are coming our way in 6 to 10 years.

Yes, I was providing you with some ways to build, use and maintain a great efficient free green energy generator. The website is really good, it is selling a guide on how to build and operate one. I bought the guide and I'm on my way collecting the coils, magnets, silver plates, brass poles among other locally available materials and following the instructions. Due to Copyright laws I cannot distribute this guide for free and that's why I point people to the site so that they can make their own informed decisions before they buy. First research more into this issue, check for free DIY downloads and try to work on them before deciding to purchase an expert and detailed guide on going about this. Less costly generators are not years away as those workers say. Remember, they work for those companies and maybe the big energy companies aren't ready yet to let go of their customers who depend on them for electricity.

Yes you can there are many ways to do it, one is by solar energy, it is best if you have small house, other one is by installing one wind turbine at your place but it is only possible if you have a farm house or something like that. Scientist are finding many more ways. And one more thing all of this sources are known from years but they are not implemented properly so we are facing this global warming problem and i also know that no one will try to do so and one country will blame other and this will go on.

The 'global warming' problem has been turned into a political tool. The developing countries have now found a voice and are saying that the industrialized and advanced countries are to blame for the countless obnoxious gas emissions from their factories that are polluting the world. Again the third world countries are crying that they are being used as dumping sites to toxic materials that are further degrading the environment. All these could be credible. However, the blame game won't take us anywhere. Let us be responsible and see what part we can play in bettering this world. Especially in the issue of clean, green, and free energy. We may not know the commitment of governments and big energy companies in this matter but we can just go alone individually and/or collectively and try to see what works best for us. Therefore, let us continue to do our research and find the best alternatives of generating free electricity
