Life on a desert island?

Most of us have formed an unrealistic picture of life on a desert island. We sometimes imagine a desert island to be a sort of paradise where the sun always shines. Life there is simple and good. Ripe fruit falls from the tress and you never have to work. The other side of the picture is quite the opposite. Life on a desert island is wretched. You either starve to death or live like Robinson Crusoe, waiting for a boat which never comnes. Perhaps there is an element of truth in both these pictures, but few of us have had the opportunity to find out. Do you like to live on a desert island if you have the opportunity?

Well life on a desert island would be both good and bad.The good would be that you would have a lot more time to your self. You could do things that normally you would never do around others.I am sure though that if you were alone on the island it would be for the most part a bad thing due to the loneliness you would experience. I would rather be stranded by a group of people as at least that way you could become very close friends as they are they only people that you could interact with.I think that this has happened a resonable amount of times that people are stranded for months , years or even the rest of their life on some deserted island in the middle of the ocean.

Living in a desert is really hard even i cannot see it personally. As I think full of sand then how can i manage in the middle of the sand? I wast to experience but i cannot go to that area I'm afraid to see a mountainous sandy land. Thanks and have a good night!

That's a too perfect life. It would be you have everything but i guarantee you that you would feel bored after a while. Life's supposed to a surprise. What's the point of having everything. That's why god had different plans for us and i am glad he did. Otherwise everyone would be happy in this world right? Yup i have lived on desert island before. It's quite nice actually. Checks your patience and your tolerance. You live on dates and stuff from cactus which was quite hard to get. Nights were extremely cold and mornings were hot like hell. I stayed for like two weeks. We even witnessed a sandstorm and it was fun but not until sand went inside my mouth and nose! Cheers!

I would not to hope to live in a deserted island. I mean, I want a busy life and if I will be in a situation to live in some kinda that way, it would be my end. Boredom will kill me. And I believe in the saying that a man is not an island. Unfortunately, we need other people for us to survive. Some may enjoy the pleasure of the sun, the peacefulness it shows but it is not usually about the good things. Sometimes, storms comes in and if you are not ready, you will really be in danger. It is just a matter of choice. And it is somewhat life is. We've gotta survive. It maybe sometimes on our own selves but sometimes with the help of other people.

i wouldnt like to live in a desert island. i want to live in a paradise where in the island has everything i need, food, shelter and other necessities. if given a chance, i will live there and have a peaceful environment. its fun to not worry anything about work and about getting pressured on things. its downside is when typhoon comes, island are not the perfect place to stay

I don't wanna live in a desert. It's hot there and very dehydrating. I could die there.

You mean deserted island? I think it's not a good opportunity to live in a deserted island but to go there for a vacation and come back when i get tired of it is a great opportunity. Who would love to live alone in a deserted island? Not me because i couldn't cook and I don't know how to survive in such a place!
