Having pen and paper on you at all times.

well since i am a girl and carry a purse, haha, and a writer (and a artist) i always have a pen and notepad in my purse to jot things down (either ideas for writing or ideas for a craft).

I usually don't follow such a routine. Most times, I use my cell phone for record keeping. Some times if the notes are very long, I just use the voice recorder for notes. Other times, I text my cell phone the notes I need. Many times, I've recorded cell numbers, address information and study notes on my phone. It matters in the end when there is a great need to retrieve such information. At other times, including at work, I use a notebook and couple of pens for easy and accurate data entry.

I only have shirts that have a pocket and I always have paper and a pen to write ideas that come into my head. Since my memory is not so great, I need to write a thought quickly or I will forget it pretty fast. I sometimes get tunes in my head but since I can't record them fast, they are quickly forgotten. When an idea for a poem comes into my head, it sometimes takes just minutes to complete it. So I'm never without pen and paper!

Yes! I always have a notebook and pen on me! When I forget them then of course I feel lost. I like to write during class when my teachers are lecturing. I'm pretending to take notes, but of course the short story I've been writing here has nothing to do with the Impressionist art period. Shhh! Don't tell my teachers! They think I'm a good student! If I have a random idea during the day, I can't always wait to get home to write it down. It's good to have a notebook on hand in those cases.

I keep a pen and notebook with me all day while at work. Any little idea that comes to mind gets jotted down for future reference...you never know.

I don't. It is not because i don' t love writing. I am just a bit of a lazy person that I often prefer to input things directly using the flip of my fingers on the computer's keyboard.

As it is difficult to write by hand as i have a disability. I don't keep pen and paper with me, even though I'm a writer. I do carry my phone which I use to type into if i get an inspiration or I carry my laptop if I'm going somewhere long term, like vacation.

i have that habit too. a pen and a piece of paper always come in handy for me. random thoughts often come whenever i'm out doing an errand, a lazy stroll, or on my way or from work. at home, i also have pens and blank papers ready just in case inspiration hits and i need to write something down.

I do like carrying pen and paper with me. I find it useful to have, just in case I want to write something down. Sometimes, for whatever reason, I just don't get the chance to bring pen and paper, but I still try to.

I do the same especially if I'm writing an article and I've thought of something that I think works well, I'll write it straight down in case I forget it. I always have pen and paper with me,I'm not always in front of my computer. I'll keep a note pad and pen with me the rest of the time as well.

When I was in high school I did this too- back then I had a pocket to stuff my pen and paper..But now i just bring pen, no more paper. Bringing those stuff proved to be very useful most of the times..

Hm, no. But I always think I should start doing this, but then I forget about it. So I never actually remember to do it. But I do think it is a really good idea, good for you for remembering to do this!

No, I've never done that, but it seems a great idea. I'll try it out
