What If there is a sudden nuclear explosion in your city !

With the current nuclear world, growing defense mechanisms and raise terrorism, no one knows what will happen at any time. Nuclear bombs and explosions - Everyone on this planet witnessed the Destruction of two Japanese cities in world war 2 by two US developed destructive devices 'little boy' and 'Fat man'. With around 3,900 degrees Celsius of heat produced and radius of total destruction of each bombs of nearly 1-2 km radius, it took out lives of more than a lakh of innocent people and many still affected by its radiations. We have seen a lots of movies depicting nuclear explosions in cities, some famous are Atomic train, Independence day , T3:rise of the machine and the most famous ford's survival from movie -Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal skull. What if you stay in a city and while standing out of your balcony on a sunny morning suddenly happen to see a nuclear explosion in ur city around 20-25 miles from were u stay and this explosion happen without been given any warnings or notice of such attacks b4 (like in any of above movies). Now u just hav not even minutes, but just second, for u might have a chance to survive or save yourself or lives of ur family. What would you do? Any ideas? (Dont say we dont have possibilities of such bombings, we had 9/11 with not much prior warning, even Japanese had no warning. This might happen in future).
