Lay around a hot place , eat great food :P
Other is just to not sleep from time to time and after 36 hours you will want to sleep at that hour :D
The recommended is the amount that suit your memorizing speed .

Are you saying that you're not sleeping at night so you've taken to sleeping during your study time? Doesn't sound good. I'm sorry that you're having insomnia problems. I've been there and it's totally no fun.
Some of the things that help me to get to sleep is drinking warm milk or tea (it helps to relax and that's important because when you're stressed out and tense you're going to have loads of trouble getting to sleep) and have a bedtime routine. I turn off the computer, the tv, all my music, and all manor of electronic equipment at least an hour before bed. I take a nice warm shower, read one of my fantasy novels for a little bit, and then I try going to sleep.
As for studying time, there's no set number of hours you need to study. It's whatever number of hours that you need in order to learn and remember the information. It's good to spend a little bit of time looking over your material every day because then you have lots of review time and you're not trying to cram it all in at once.
