Do You or Did You Enjoy the Rush of Black Friday?

I can't say I have literally unless you count online, lol. Although I could probably find some products online I want for a discount, I can't really say there's anything I have a real urge for right now. Anyway, I don't think I would enjoy the hassle of the crowds all that much unless I was really bored. Overall, my family never really got into Black Friday when I was growing up. I guess for many families its a tradition. Lastly, if your looking for good deals online for today or this upcoming Cyber Monday I would recommend Shopzilla.com. Just type in a product and it will give you all the best deals currently online. Have a good day and happy mylotting.

I can honestly say that I will never go shopping on Black Friday again. I went shopping on this crazy day once with my father when I was still in high school. Little did I know that after Thanksgiving break I would be returning to school with a broken nose and two black eyes (caused from the broken nose of course). It was AWFUL! I will so never do it again!

This is my fourth year for going black friday shopping. I don't think my family ever really went shopping for black friday. I was a little afraid to try it for a few years because of all the horror stories of people getting trampled that you would hear. Then one year a friend was going so my husband and I decided to give it a try. Our town is pretty small so it wasn't as bad as I thought. They have changed how they do things over the last few years but it's still pretty good. The only bad thing was them letting the sale start at midnight. I didn't go till 3:30. I heard it was pretty crazy at midnight. When I went at 3:30 I was able to get some of the things on my list, but some of them were already gone.

somebody camped out in a tent outside a store just to be one of the first to get a good deal. talk about dedication to find the best deals and being odd. whoever it was that person fit the description.

I did go. I had a very good turnout. There was only 2 things that I did not get that I wanted. I went to Sears, and Menards. That was all. I am having an awful time getting going today though.

I've never been interested, either. But, I went shopping on Thanksgiving and I think I'll start this tradition for the future. I've always been a little offstream (as opposed to mainstream)and I liked a couple of the bargains that I got. So, as a mom and a family girl I think I might start the tradition of Thanksgiving Day shopping. I have to admit, though, that I think that there are only one or two "steals", at the most, per store.

The only rush i got from Black Friday was watching the hustle and bustle of shoppers on that day. I had jobs where I was witness to a lot of Black fridaay shopping. it was never boring!

Thanksgiving is in October, up here in Canada, so we don't have Black Friday. We just stayed home, and did our Christmas shopping on line. I am not interested in shopping on big shopping days, because I really don't like the crowds. I prefer to get whatever I can get on line because of the selection, and the convenience.

hi elmiko no not at all, I stayed right here in my room and enjoyed not shoving into crowds, not getting pushed around, and not getting worn out and making my bad leg hurt. I will do a lot of my shopping on line this year from the comfort of my own room and on my computer with my debit card, more fun no pain.

I don't even experience that so called Rush of Black Friday. I think there is no such thing in our place. But I've heard a lot from members around here regarding this Black Friday Shopping Craze.

Hi elmiko! I wasn't planning on even going out today, but I ended up going to Staples, which is an Office Supply Store and my "sort of son" (he is my computer guy who counts me as his 2nd mom) bought me a brand new Hewlett Packard Computer! He is the Store Manager. It was an incredible buy and I got the stores last one! He had already bought me a new monitor, laser printer and printer/copier/scanner a few months ago so now I have a whole new system! It won't be set up for awhile because I have to have a new floor put down in my kitchen/office and there isn't any point in having to take the old computer apart twice so I will wait until the floor is done. I think it's more than twice as fast as my Compaq that I have now. I'm kind of nervous since I have a hard time adjusting to new electronic devices! That's the best Christmas present I could ever have gotten!
