How good is he as a player? An all time great? Did he rap* that girl whom he was accused of?

I don't think he did, but he is a great player. His 81 point game last season was incredible, but he isn't as good this season coming off of knee surgery. He'll get better once he is back in shape - and the Lakers are on a role this year so far. He has the passion to win, and I think he'll push the team to do their best. Currently he is one of the league's best players, and if he can lead the Lakers to a first round playoff win or better I think he'll get recognition. As a Pistons fan though, I'm hoping that no team but Detroit, and no player but a Pistons player, does way too good lol

Just to add to this... So much for me saying Kobe is off to a slow start - he tallied 31 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists tonight, and became the youngest player in league history to ever score 17,000 points. Quite an accomplishment

I give you a +. Its a awesome comment. Please keep participating in my discussions. Thank you again. Will Lakers win this time though. Last year in playoffs it was very disappointing.

I agree with you on that one. Greatness in basketball should not have overshadowed his failings as a human being.

So, you are assuming he did it. WHy blame someone without proof? Dont go by the media that much. Thanks for your comment though.

How are you so sure he did it? I mean after all media is always after successful people.
