I found an earring with a white shiny stone. What do you think will I do with it? How can I know if it is indeed a diamond?

Get it appraised to an appraisal shop to know if it's indeed diamond. If you can, return it to the owner. If not, bring it to a Lost and Found Center. The owner might drop by there and look for it.

It is within our yard when I found it. My uncle own the house though. I couldn't have seen it if I did not sit down and skin the coconuts.

oh really, its more good if that earrings you found is a real diamond because diamond still the most expensive stone until now,if that will happen to me i will just keep the earring even if i am not really sure if that is a real diamond.because i can use it to give as a remembrance to someone like friend of mine.

Take it to a jeweller, and have it appraised. He will tell you withing seconds, whether it is a precious stone or just a glass one. If it is a precious stone, you can sell it to the jeweller itself and buy something for you.
