Burlesque the Movie / myLot

Wow just wow... I just got back from seeing Burlesque. A plot, several love stories, and seemingly non stop great singing and dancing of the best quality. No idea what award this movie would be eligible for, but I can't believe anything else could come close this year. Cher was remarkable although more of a supporting role than I would have expected. Lots of eye candy for both sexes without being crude. If you liked any of the music in Chicago, I think you may love this one. I would rate it right up there with Cabaret. I really didn't know what to expect from this film so I was delighted to be so entertained.

While my nephew was here from NYC over the holiday, he wanted me to go with him to see Burlesque. I didn't want to go, so we went to see something else. After your review, I'm sorry I missed it. Maybe I'll try this next week... Thanks.

You won't regret seeing it. It is definitely destined to get a few Academy award nominations and also win a few.

Is it kind of similar ti the movie "nine" ? I loved Chicago, it was a really good movie to watch and kept me interested to the end. I wanted to watch this to before the year comes to an end...How was Christina A. here?

I can't believe Cher looks this good at her age--must be nice to have the money to maintain those looks! But then, she's worked very hard for all that wealth and I admire her. She deserves every cent! I'll catch that movie when it comes to TV. I appreciate the review and will watch for it.

Even with her money most of us could never look as good as Cher. She is Indian and has great genes. You can't buy those cheekbones.
