Android OS vs Other Mobile OS

Google Android OS v2.2, is the latest open source OS provided in all upcoming smart mobile phones. Android has almost made 160,000+ mobile applications which are mostly free and will cross the iphone applications by 2011.
I am a privileged android user running in a Samsung Galaxy 3 mobile. :)
Are you an android user? Please comment on your views about the latest android OS when compared to other mobile OS like symbian, iOS, windows CE,...

I my views Android is the best OS while compared to Symbian, windows etc. Its easier to use and is the best for me. By the way i m using HTC desire and my sis is using Nexus1 which is awesome....

Yep, Symbian OS is outdated and even though they start new technologies or applications like Android, it can't really make a big impact on Android OS.

Thats true. Same with me. No other OS in the next 2 years is getting any close to the Android feel. Thats for sure!

Hello friend,
i always liked Symbian much more than everything. My boyfriend likes windows mobile, because he is very good at using computers, he just knows a lot of programs, used a lot of their possibilities, but i'm not that way. I use my own computer when i need internet only, so there is no chance for me to like Windows mobile more than Symbian.
I have no experience with Android, but i know that most of the new phones of HTC has Android and actually i don't know which other system is similar to Android.
There is something i don't like in Symbian, but for me it's not a big deal. Symbian is getting confused sometimes and need shutting down. But after that it works good for me.

Good to know that you are a Symbian user.., Anyways, in the years to come Android will be more popular and almost all mobiles will start to use this OS. Symbian needs to bring something like android to make their OS run at the same pace. Windows OS is used only in certain business phones.. :)
Anyways, when you own an android phone in future or so, come back and post your comments :D :)

I do have an Android phone, and it is the first one I have ever had. It is the Samsung Fascinate which is one in a series of Galaxy S phones. I am still waiting for the update to Android 2.2, but I know it will come in time. I have found the Android OS is very easy to use, and I like the apps that it has, as there are so many to choose from. I have put a few apps on m phone, but not all that many yet. I hope to put more on here in time. I want to get the update first before I get anymore apps. Take care, and have a very good day.
