Christmas day is fast approaching, you can already see that every body is preparing for that special day.In our traditions we can never celebrate Christmas without " Simbang Gabi" or having mass for 9 consecutive days till the 25th of December. I like to know who among you follow or complete the 9 consecutive days of mass, How do you compare Simbang Gabi from the previous years that have passed?

Here in the Philippines, Simbang Gabi is already a part of tradition during Christmas Season... It also been said that once you have completed the nine (9) days attending the Misa de Gallo or the Simbang Gabi, the request intended for the occasion will be granted. I only have completed the nine masses of Simbang Gabi just five years ago and that I really couldn't compare the other years that I have attended because I didn't able to complete the nine masses of Simbang Gabi.

Yeah this is a tradition of our country, I think only Philippines having such kind of tradition... May I ask question about simbang gabi, what is really mean? What is relation of simbang gabi to born of Jesus christ which said Christmas? Do you have proof that simbang gabi is sync or related to Christmas or this is only tradition but baseless... sorry but only my opinion.. see you around
