Is Toluna really withholding payment until Janaury 2011?

Hi Toluna members, I just read a post on Toluna that said due to accounting and budgeting issues, any voucher that was requested after November 15, 2010 will not be paid until some time in January. Of course I just requested one, and am 1/2 way towards earning another one. Has anyone heard about this? If so, is there anything we can do about it?

Sorry can someone tell me where it says that? I requested one on November 11th so hope that will go through, to be honest I have stopped doing surveys with them after I requested this one, I was with Ciao (the company they merged with) and much preferred that one as you could paid by paypal and the surveys showed the amount you got paid (not points), so when they merged with toluna I did some more surveys just to reach the amount of points needed for a voucher and now Im just registering myself for the test products!

Well from what Ive read they take ages to pay anyway! But at least we will get our payment at some point, even though it would be handy to have it before christmas!

It's in the "news" section at the bottom left of the screen (at least my screen). There have also been a couple of posts/quick surveys about it. I am VERY disappointed, and hope my latest payment request (from Nov. also) goes through!

I was a member of the site that was bought by Tuluna...it was such a good site and I earned pretty good on it...then Tuluna bought it or they merged of whatever it was and Tuluna kind of went down hill to the point I just deleted my account. I forget why other than they didn't have that many surveys and didn't pay enough to bother wasting my time. Guess I stopped before they did! That sounds horrible that they aren't paying, but that is what the sites do....they cover their butts and bad investments before they consider their members...then complain cause they loose so many members.

I had heard the original site was much better. . .I hope this is just a "growing pains" problem--I guess we'll see.

I'm not a member of Toluna, but it seems like it is a sign that they are not up to par when it comes to financial matters. Is Toluna having money problems, that's why they can't pay on time? I hope that is not the case though. I do hope you guys get paid eventually.

I'm not sure--I think they merged with another company recently, and maybe that's what is causing these problems. I agree, it doesn't sound good.

I am unsure too. I noticed that members are trying to protest because it is unfair because lots are saving for Christmas to buy gifts for their kids or whatever. I have gotten 4 previous payments and I am half way to another and I am curious too!

we'll have to keep watching--and waiting. I do find it kind of suspicious, though. Most sites give away MORE stuff at this time of year, not less.
