What means the ranking of the star in my lot?

Hello my lotter friends,...
this is my 3rd discussions. but there's something making me a little bit shocked that I got 3rd Star ranking. and I saw some of mylotter friends who has varity of their own stars. what is that means? do you think the star rank could measure how much money we can earn in mylot?

Read the FAQs here, where the 'star' rating and the Discussion Rating System is fully explained:

We are told that the DRS is factored in to the earnings algorithm, which implies that the more that people rate our participation, the better we are likely to do.
Unfortunately, this question is so often asked (and is answered in the FAQs) that it is very likely to be deleted.

As the other people have stated, the answer to the question that you've asked is in the FAQ section of mylot.
If you are trying to raise your start level there really isn't a lot that you are able to do to increase it except to make sure that the posts that you make on discussions are of good quality. Then, you have to hope that people rank you positively based on those.

As owlwings said before, the answer to your question is in the FAQs. It would be great if you found some time to read them, and also to read the discussion guidelines. There you can find many useful things that will help you become a better myLotter.
The number in your star shows how your activity in myLot is seen by the others users. It's called myLot reputation. The larger the number in a star, the better. So, it seems you're not doing too good so far, huh?
Try to write more meaningful posts, always show respect to the myLot community, never violate the rules, give a helping hand whenever it is needed and you'll see your reputation going up.
