If you're a regular or permanent employee then there's no reason why you shoudn't receive your bonus too. I heard on the news that government employees will receive their bonus although it would be better that those who are casual employees get to recieve a bonus too so every body is happy.

In my own opinion, casuals should get the same amount of bonus that are given to regular employees because they do the same job as permanent employees do, in some cases they even do the harder jobs while the permanent ones are just in their desk gossiping with their colleagues.Casuals should have the same rights and privileges that a regular employee enjoys, except of course the tenure, because casuals are employees too and not just servants of the permanent employees.

Hello Kixsh,
I guess you can inquire or complain to as of why you didn't get a bonus. the best method is get a media to interview you. that way it could force the government to check on you're department as well. i hope the office you work with isn't a GCOC or something. @kixsh101 (2135)

I am laughing as I read your response. Though it is a superb idea, I don't have the plan to out it in the action. Media is a big no! no! It would only make things worst.. But I buy your idea of asking the department why some of us are not included, I hope they will be reasonable this time.

If you have not checked yet, our government is not loaded with money and as far as the history of the government shows, casual employees dont get bonus.
Perhaps it will change soon, but this is the worst time to expect that. And perhaps you should not be too arrogant when you ask about a gift.
