I believe everybody should take part in a study abroad program. If they can't finanse a full degree abroad, they should at least participate in a student exchange program. I think studying abroad widens your horizons and is a great addition on the student's resume.
Unfortunately because I work full time I can't afford taking leave for even three months to participate in a program like that and it makes me very sad. I really wantr to go and study abroad!
What about you? Have you ever thought about studying abroad? What are your opinions about it?

I think that study abroad programs are an exceptional idea. Education is essential to the growing experiences of our lives. Learning and gaining knowledge away from home is a good way to be introduced to other cultures as well. i see studying abroad as a good thing and it should not be discouraged.@calajane (1003)

I definitely agree! That's why I think everybody should experience it at least once in their life. It makes the life richer and makes us understand other cultures! I'm actually wondering if I should start a blog or a website about studying abroad to promote that concept.

Study in a foreign country is the best way to learn a language. There is no improved and more effective way to learn a language than to be absorbed in a culture that speaks the language you are learning. You're bounded by the language on a daily basis and are seeing and hearing it in the proper cultural situation. Language learning happens most rapidly under these circumstances.

Definitely!
I notice it with the international students studying at our university. They all attend the language course (and Polish isn't all that simple) and by the end of their exchange stay, even though they study in English, they can actually carry a conversation in Polish!

Hi,
I was study in overseas after my high school.
That is one of my ambition, I want to explore outside world and
wanna be independent. So I make it.
It is good to study abroad, whereby you will have chance to learn
other country culturals and also make some new friends there.
But before making the decision, you have to choose the right
course and which university that you want to go and also
which country you prefer to spend for your study.
There is lot of education fair going on now,so attend some of those
fair and let more information from the staff there.
