You should know about the statistics, majority of cause for children obesity, due to their lack of activities at outdoor. They focus on playing game in the house, sipping sugar - heavy beverage; eating potato chips, and other snacks. No wonder the modern day of our children have glasses on, and also fat.
There is something I found interesting though from Microsoft new gadget, called XBOX 360, Kinect. Which you don't need a hand control, sit at sofa all the time. It is all about your body movement. You can play game with your body movement, and its sensor will convert your body movement into the game action. If you need to jump, you have to jump; you need to kick, just kick your leg high. How is that sound for your children. Your children can at least exercise with their body moving while enjoy playing games. I think our game developers should focus on this type of game more in the near future.

Yes, not only do they make you get up and move a bit, but they are way, way more fun; it actually feels like you are in the game.
I've played the playstation move, with the wand, and tried out the gladiator duel game and I am now hooked! I only had the one wand to play with though(Hope to be able to try it out with two wands, because then you can manually control the sword and shield at the same time).
It actually felt like I was the one in the game! Played a little to hard though(and with the lack of resistance in the air) I got a pretty sore shoulder muscle. I hope PS3 comes out with something similar to Xbox's kinect one, where your whole body is in the game. Then they could come out with a bunch of games that require you to be the character. Imagine a game like Call of Duty with that sort of thing(seems like that movie Gamer). That would be awesome. However, if you tried to do dives or barrel rolls you would probably hit things in your house ;D

Sounds cool, isn't it? I hope that you can enjoy all the game, and you won't be a fatty in the near future. Because with your body movement, you certainly will trim down a lot of protein from your body.
