My first Christmas away from home....

OOOhhh...i feel like crying...
This Christmas is the first Christmas ever that I won't be home with my family...
I am now a married woman... so I will have to spend this Christmas with him and his family...but the child in me still yearns to be at home.., and share the bliss and joy with my siblings...pls..cheer me up..=)I love my husband of course..., But how I wish He would decide to spend our Christmas in my place...,=(

How about arranging a visit with your family for, say New Year? Or maybe ask your family to have Christmas morning breakfast or lunch with you and your husband's family? I know how you feel. I've been away from my family for 2 years now. I've just moved in with my fiancee 3 months ago and I'm afraid we won't be able to go and visit my family in the Philippines for Christmas. :( But I'm looking forward to being with them next year with my future husband and bond with them so my fiancee can meet them all in person. :)

I am still negotiating with my hubby..,
i think he's considering the idea of spending the christmas with his folks and the new year eve with mine..., That would really make me happy...=)

Just enjoy the holidays. If you keep thinking of going home you won't enjoy it with your in-laws. Maybe they're fun people too just like your family, right? You never know.

right.., that's why as much as possible.., I try to have fun to divert my loneliness...
my in laws are great.., i've got no problems with them.., but i still miss my own family... but i guess., it's part of the changes i have to deal with..=)

well.., I already did.., But he explained to me that it would not be possible this year,,m His mom will be lonely without him this christmas.., It will just be her and his dad if we leave the,///=( no choice for me..=(
