In an effort to save money this year, I am going to be giving some baked goods for Christmas. Problem is, some of my family lives in other states, so I'll be mailing their gifts. Could you give me some ideas on types of baked goods that will travel well? I have already decided to make mini loaves of bread, but I would like some other suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Good idea, Chex mix would probably travel fine, & maybe fudge & other homemade candy. I sent cookies overseas when one of my adopted children was there & he said they were in crumbles by the time they got there but that every crumble was eaten, lol.I hope u have good luck w/them. The post office is pretty rough on boxes being shipped.

Oh yeah, chex mix! My girls will love that one, and I am sure they will love fudge too. Yes, I thought about cookies, and then decided they would end arriving in crumbs. Thanks for the wonderful suggestions.
