What did you do after you graduate college? Do you find hard to look for a job? Did you make something that can impress the company? Are you satisfied with your salary when you work with them? How long did you stay from your first company? Are you satisfied with the people around you?

My first job was in a research department of a company. I took that job because I wanted to continue on with research activities since I had spent a lot of time on research during my graduate school years. I like research work, and certainly very much enjoy devoting time and effort to it.

Meaning to say if you are a researcher what does it usually do? Is that more about discovering something?

As I declined a lot of job offers, I became a property specialist for 2 months.

Why did you declined all those job offers?

After graduating from college, I tried to take the licensure exam but I failed twice so I looked for a place where I can continue my training and I landed a job as a volunteer at a hospital. As a volunteer, you're not really paid at all and you're just there for the experience to put on your resume and to get a certificate that you have trained there so I tried another thing which is Medical Transcription. I enrolled in a vocational course which was about 6 months training and thankfully I excelled in that field and they hired me afterwards to be one of their instructors. Having a medical background, they decided that I can be able to teach and give lectures for the basics of human anatomy and pathophysiology through the guidance of our Administrator. I didn't really "make" something to impress them, I just obediently followed the rules and regulations of the company and have been very flexible with my schedule. I was quite okay with the salary but ever since I got sick, I needed to buy myself medications and the salary that I was earning was not enough for myself to buy medications and budget my needs. I was quite happy with the job and have been in very good terms with my officemates and the bosses but I needed a little more from my income so I decided to try my luck abroad. I stayed there for nearly 3 years and then I went here in the UK, first as a tourist then enrolled in a school and got my visa a year after to study and work part-time here. I was very happy and have enjoyed good memories with my first real job where I embraced the title of an instructor and it wasn't even a very strenuous job at all. If they had given me a raise in my salary I would've stayed because I love the job but they failed to realize that most of my officemates that left were really good employees and they deserve more than what they earn from there.
