This morning I learned a news from TV. Russia and Qutar will be held the World Cup in 2018 and 2022. What do you think of it? I like this result because it will be good for the soccer to be promoted in more countries. Especially this is the first time that the Fifa World Cup will be held in the Middle East.

As far as I am concerned,I think Russia should held one World Cup because that the Russia's soccer players and teams have show the world that their skills are in high level. Also it is a good oportunity for people in other countries to get to know more about this mysterious land just like the 2008 Olympic Games in China. I am wondering when the World Cup will come to China. There are so many football fans in China and we are all very enthusiastic.Hope that this day will come sooner.

China wanted to hold the World Cup in 2026, however, due to Qatar already holds it in 2022. So it is not likely for another Asian country to hold it continously. Although we have lots of soccer fans, but we don't have good players. Since that, we are not qualified to it.

I think FIFA selected the right countries. They should not keep the hosting of this event limited only in few countries. They should spread it all over the world. Earlier only America and Eupore got the right to host the event but later Africa and Asia claimed the rights. This time Middle East got for 2022 which is a good for us. We can hope that FIFA would keep spreading it. There are many countries all over the world. FIFA would look to choose the eligible ones. There should not be any "Power only rules" here. Everyone should be given a chance. Russia and Qutar never got the chance but earlier US and England hosted this event. It is the time to look forward. Many countries will be hopeful after this, which will help the football only. FIFA selection committee did a good job.

I think it's cool that Russia got it. Of course my husband is half Russian, so I was routing for them anyway. As for Qatar, I think it's interesting that the Middle East is getting one for the first time. I wonder if they've ever had a world cup in Canada. It would be neat if they did, one day. We've had a few Olympics, but I don't think we've had a World Cup yet.

Perhaps the soccer is not so popular in Canada yet. So if one day Canada wants to hold the World Cup, I think it will be successful easily since the soccer needs to develop in your country

youless, One thing for sure, I am sure a great number of countries are crying foul on top of their disappointments when the FIFA president declared that Qatar will be hosting 2022. I mean, I can understand the 2018 award since it was being voted for and Russia won it rightfully. But, the announcement on the 2022 award is really bizarre and I suppose will go down into soccer history as probably the most controversial decision ever.

I am different. I think it gives me a new feeling if the World Cup is held in Qatar. The soccer shall be rolled around the world and it's time to a Middle East country to catch the ball.
