Corruption-Free Country, Where?

Hi guys. So I typed this in my search bar, "is there any country without corruption". I was actually hoping to see if there is any country (even just one) that is completely free from this dirty habit of many people, and the results guided me to "the list of most corrupt countries". So, it seems like corruption is really everywhere. What actually is more unacceptable is that the people whom others trust do this. Many countries are sinking because of the wrong way politics is being managed. Many people in the government are greedy and would only serve for themselves than for the country. It is really disappointing. Another disappointing thing is that corrupt people most of the time do not pay for their sins and it is the country people who suffer. Why do these people have no conscience?... How about you guys? Is corruption a very common thing in your country? How does you government treat people who are proven to be corrupt? If you were in position to give the judgment, how would you punish these people? And what intrigues me most, do you know any country that is corruption-free? If you do, I really would be glad to hear it. But if your country is one of the corrupt ones, please share some part, too. Thanks!

Pakistan is one of the most corrupt nations in the world. They are ranked as low as 145 out of 159 in the world corrupt-free nations. Its not a good thing for Pakistan.

Any country that has people will be corrupt, because people are corrupt. People who are looking for power, fame and money are even worse. I do believe it is possible to start a new government and have it be somewhat clean for a while, but it is only time and it will be like all the rest. There is lots of evidence in my country that politicians are far more concerned about their paycheck and their next re-election, than they are about what their decisions are doing for or to the people.

Leaders have power. There is a quote from I don't know who that is something like this: Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. That seems to be how it works in real life.

I have heard that it seems Finland is the country which won't have the corruption. The officers are very honest. I don't exactly know how they can succeed it. I think the education is the most important factor. I love China

I do not think that any country in this world is really and totally corruption free. But currently, according to the chart shown by my professor in management class, the most corruption free country is Finland. It is the number one. My country, which is America has lots of corruption going on. However, people do not have enough power to fight them.

im glad that there are still nations that choose to value honesty and integrity such as finland and singapore when it comes to this matter. yes corruption is present in all nations but it depends on the intensity and level of corruption like in the Philippines the country that i come from the corruption is severe and were aware of it but doing nothing bcuz were immuned and just tolerate it. i feel sad about this scenario. old habits really die hard. i just hope we wake up and do something about it.

Not every citizen of a country is corrupted. Similarly, it can't be said that every citizen of a particular country is uncorrupted. There is no denying the fact that men always want more than they have. Even you and me, we are no different. Those who can control it, work on principles and ethics are hard to corrupt, but others are willing to be. Country is not a factor here. Maybe, in a poor country, with huge unemployment and weak government, more people get away with it. This encourages others to follow in their foot steps.

Humans are born to be greedy. You are greedy too, it's just that you've learnt to cover it. So corruption is present everywhere, because everybody is naturally greedy and the law system is never perfect.

here in Singapore, corruption is really hard to find. but i believe it still exist. one reason corruption can be kept low here in Singapore is because we're a small country. secondly, our government are doing a great job. it also depends how cooperative the citizen is and what life they lead, people must be groom well.

Really, it seems like corruption happens almost everywhere in this world. and seems very hard to find such country or place where corruption never ever exists. however, in my experience, countries like singapore will be better,so you can search it online if you interest.
