Experts have long advocated the patients to change their lifestyle, especially in diet and sport exercises. The diet is done to reduce salt intake. Hypertension is caused by narrowing of small blood vessels. Changing the lifestyle is the important rule for the patients. Of course, they must to take the anti-hypertension medicines regularly. Lifestyle is about life matters like doing sport or sleeping. The right diet now is recommended like Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension.

I have high blood pressure due to kidney malfunction and have to take medication for it. I have become more active but tire easily, so have to be careful about that. A lot of people can help, if not control their high blood pressure through diets and exercise, though.

I suffer from high bp and have done for alot of years.I take lots of pills for high bp as well as i take beta blockers.I have problems with my blood vessels, due to other things like raynauds disease which is now classed as severe raynauds.Sometimes there are other reasons that people have high bp and it is not down to lack of exercise or diet, sometimes it can be other things that are not right with our body.
