I was thinking about the fact that American Idol will be starting again soon and I am really wondering what this season will be like without so many of the judges that we have admired on here. I especially worry about it without Simon. I think that Steven Tyler will be okay,but not Simon. What do you think- will it be as good this year?

I just hope that one of the judges will be as blunt as Simon. He really just told it like it was. He was honest and not so flattering as the other judges. It's good to have someone who looks at things merely from a practical point of view. I think I'll give it a shot this year. I really disliked having Ellen on there last year. I lost interest about halfway thru the season.

I think Ellen was the Paula Abdul last year. I thought that she would make comments just to make the contestants and the audience happy. She'll always compliment the voice or performance of the contestant even if at times the performance sucked! :)

Yeah, I'm kind of worried about how American Idol would be too- now that some judges are gone, only Randy is still there. I really loved how Kara dioguardi and Simon COwell judge the performers, I think they are great judges.. they should've never left..But I'm still watching the show though.

I'm not too excited about the new set of judges. I prefer the original judges - Randy, Simon and Paula. I was annoyed with Kara when she came in. I hope a Fil-American will make it to the top10 so that the show will be more interesting to watch for me! :)

I will check it out but if I don't like it I won't be watching. I will miss Simon the most he was the best judge. I can't see Steven Tyler or JoLo doing the judging but maybe I will be pleasantly surprised. We shall see.
