Setting aside a day just to catch up on commenting to responses.

When I post a topic, the first couple of days, I tend to respond to the comments in a timely manner. However, once I put up a fresh batch of topics, I might not get to the older topics in a timely manner. What I do is that I set up a day a week just to catch up on commenting to any stray responses. Does anyone else do this? Looking forward to reading your responses.

I suppose this would good advice for those members who start a great deal of discussions to do so. As for me I do not start many discussions at all. I find that when I start one I keep long enough where as I am able to respond right away. I have never not responded the same day of the posted discussion, but then again. I do not start many at all.
So this will be helpful for others, and I wish they will read your discussion as many members tend to be overwhelmed and never get back to responding to members who commented.

Yeah really don't start more discussions then you can handle. I think that a good number is a few every two or three days. With some changes depending on the situation and your schedule. I tend to catch most of the responses the first time through, but that is because I am obsessive multitasker, who has MyLot on in the background, when I am doing other things and refer back when I have time. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I have only just started to reply to some of the discussions that i have started and that is taking time, but the friend who told me about this site says it is a good idea to do all the responses even if you can not keep up with them all.Thinking about starting a discussion i can run loads off of my head.

Yeah its really can be the difference between making payout, and not making payout. Even if you do a few at a time, do something else, do a few more, eventually you're going to get through them. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Any discussions I start, I will comment back to the responses right away, to get them out of the way. I don't really get all that many responses, so it isn't hard at all. The one thing that I do need to do though is pick the best response, as I leave them go for a very long time. Anyway, I don't start all that many discussions, as I would rather post responses to other discussions. I do enjoy sharing my opinions wiht others, and I do enjoy seeing what they have to say as well. This is a great community, and I am glad I am a part of it. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

There are many times where I feel like just responding. More often than not, I don't have ideas to post but I enjoy contributing my thoughts. However, there are stretches where I go through posting things a lot of topics. I get them right away on the first couple of days, but if someone comes along later, then I have to pick back up later, as I'm focusing on what I have posted currently. Best responses, yeah, I hear you about that. Of course, that can be a tricky thing to chose, as someone is likely to come along weeks later with a really good response and I feel bad. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day.

I don't do this. I'm not really treating MyLotting as a full-time job or anything. I might be here too often but that's cuz I can access MyLot on my phone and whenever it gets boring I open MyLot. But setting aside a day or a week just to comment or respond, that's way too much for me. I'd rather hang out with friends if I'm free for that day.

Yeah, I can see how someone would want to. I really tend to have different ways where I use MyLot throughout the week. Sometimes I barely am on here, sometimes I'm always on here, it really does depend on my time. There are sometimes where there is nothing to do and everyone is busy, so I might as well be productive with my time. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
