What type of earning method was your first?

We all start somewhere, everyone got their first payout from a certain method of earning. What was yours? I personally started out on a large MMORPG game, long before World of Warcraft even came out I was playing one of it's first big success stories in the field of MMORPGs. I had reached the max level of the game, in a top guild with top notch equipment when I finally got bored enough to just explore the "extras" of the game that didn't really progress my character for any real game benefit. Found out that people bought and sold in game currency and accounts. Having a top account I didn't want to part with it, so I looked into the situation. Turned out I could sell just half of the currency I already had in the game for a little over $200. So I joined a 3rd party website, set-up a deal with the site to meet in the game and give them my game currency in exchange for a paypal payment. Everything went smooth and in a matter of really a single night I had made my first couple hundred bucks online. I went on to later make far more with the game for a few more months before the earnings because far less (because of world of warcraft taking over) I ended up selling my account and vowing to never play one of those style of games again. So what type of thing did you do to earn your first dollars online?

This year, I started off with Peoplestring, but couldn't earn anything, and I lost all of my earnings (it was only about $4 anyway) Then I made a little money from Swom, but that became sour, and my referrals were downgrading. So right now I think the only good thing I'm in is Sidetick, I made pretty good there, so I'm sticking to there. My link is actually next to my website in the profile. I'm coming up to my 2nd payout next week or so. I'm hoping to make money in MyLot as well, so let's see how it all goes

My first earnings online, outside of a few dollars here and there from surveys, was Project Payday. For those that don't know what that is, this is getting paid for trial offers. I had been searching online for ways to earn money, and ran across the website that taught me about forums made specifically for this industry. My first day "freebie trading", I made about $100! It was a great feeling, but not to last. Unfortunately the bottom fell out of that industry, and there isn't as much money to be made freebie trading as it was in 2007. But, as the economy comes back, as it will, that industry will gain more money, and become great once again.

At the Moment I am playing an MMO and yes they are addictive and I have heard people selling there accounts or Items in it. The only bad thing is most of them your not suppose to do that. Anyways if it's a way to play and have fun and still earn something it's better than nothing at all. Honestly I would love to learn how to do that. And just earn a little money of the amount of time I spend on a game. It still suprizes me that people actually do pay for being higher level's on games...

I am not 100% sure where I first earned money, I think it was either from a survey website (probably Ciao) or selling items on Ebay. Both of which I still use to earn money today. It is great how much money you made from a game. It is quite ridiculous really that people would pay that much for "fake" currency.

Wow, that pretty good for a start! I had never heard of this method before! I knew that people sell their World of Warcraft accounts but i had never heard of trading ingame currencies for real money. Well probably as most people here, i started with NeoBux, but that was recently, actually im pretty new to the whole "making money online" thing, but i think im doing pretty well for starters ;).

My first payment came through writing online after 18 months of just keeping persistence and working to improve on my writing and it pays off at last
