Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Half done? All done? I proudly state that I am done!!!! Finished!!!! And guss what? They are all wrapped!!! Gusss I'm bragging, but I can't help it. I did a lot of my shopping online, mostly with the money I made online. Let's see. I bought a lot from Amazon. I get Amazon gift cards from a lot of my survey sites, and I let them accumulate for Christmas. I got an Origami kit and extra paper, two boys Timex watches, some books, and Twilight jewelry. Then I went to Ebay and got a Kodak Easy Share camera, and a really good deal on stud belts, which are all the rage for teenage girls, (it was a buy 2 get one free deal) I think that is pretty good for sitting in front of a computer I don't, however, buy clothes online, so we had to trudge to the stores to get some other stuff. Got some really good deals at Ross Dress For Less. How about you? Are you done? Did you find some great deals?

Amazingly, I have been so organised this year (presents bought and wrapped) that I only need to buy one present, and that will be with the help of my Mum, I would think. The present in question is a pair of jogging bottoms for my nephew. Ordinarily, I order stuff online now (mainly Amazon) but, with jogging bottoms, I think we need to look at them "in the flesh" so to speak. If we get stuck we can always ask a member of staff in JD Sports, who normally know what the latest trends are in sportswear. I'm glad I ordered the stuff online before the bad weather came. No-one knows what December is going to be like (or if there's more snow to come) but it doesn't matter now, because I've got everything. Hoorah!

Well, I have to walk everywhere as I don't drive (John has the car for work) so shopping when it's cold and icy isn't my idea of fun. Mind you, I went out today but I actually liked walking to the football stadium for two tickets as there is still a couple of inches of snow on the ground, and it's a lot easier to walk on than ice. I'm a bit upset with Amazon as (try as I might) I can't promote them on my MyLot profile. The banners don't work..very frustrating.

Good for you. I buy tons of stuff from Amazon, but, like you, I have to see the clothing up 'close and personal'. I hate to fight the crowds and stand in long lines, and the parking lots get so full you end up parking miles from the stores, even with a handical sticker, so I like to get done early.

So what survey sites are you using in order for you to earn?

There are several...My Survey, Lightspeed panel, Opinion outpost, clear voice, valued opinions, survy savvy, are the best for me. But, are you done shopping? Did you find any bargains?

If I am going to receive payment here from mylot after December 15 then that will be the time that I am going to shop. Especially in Mall of Asia here so that I could use my SM advantage card.

I am finishing the last of my shopping tomorrow i have $52 budget for tomorrow.I only need to get two things basically. Then I'm all done. The trick i have found is to go the day after Christmas. You get lots of bargain then save then for Birthdays or next Christmas. You can really save money that way

I used to do that a lot when I had money. Now, there is never any extra at the end of the month, so I can't do it anymore, but I hope you find some real bargains.

Wow, that's great! I'm just the opposite, I haven't even started my shopping yet. It's like this every single year for me. I guess I'm just one of those last minute shoppers. But I do have all my presents in mind already. I'm waiting for a day off from work to just go out and get them all at the same time. I'll make the entire day a Christmas present shopping day. It'll save me the trouble of running around every day.

That is so very true. I actually just finished all my shopping about 10 minutes ago. And now I'm just waiting for all of my stuff to get in so I can wrap them and put them under the tree. This was my first time doing a majority of my shopping online and I really liked it, so little hassle.

And you'll have a great time! I don't work, so I have lots of time to shop online and look at lots of things. Nice thing about doing it online is that you can shop 24/7 with no lines and no one pushing you around.

I have exactly 6 more presents to buy, and then I will be done, then comes the fun of wrapping them, I hate wrapping presents! If a shop offers to wrap it for me I will always take that offer!

Well, almost done. i don't mind wrapping, but yesterday I had a problem with my shoulders, so that made it rather difficult to finish, but I did. Did you find any good deals?

Geesh! I envy you. I haven't started at all. The earliest possible day I could commit to is on Friday or maybe Friday then I'll start it by morning by strolling around several cheap markets. I need a water proof camera for myself though because I have an online store in Facebook which needs actual shots of my items. Oh well, I wish, I wish, I could really starting shopping now. ='(

Oh no. I shop online for myself for clothes when there's an occasion to attend and I have several orders from customer so the airfreight is not too much for me. But I really like to shop on offline stores for other stuffs. Ooops, I forgot, I shop online for some of my beauty regimen. But yeah, I'm still into offline stores. =(

I am almost done with all of my Christmas shopping. I have three gifts left to buy. I am making several things though and I am still working on those. I haven't even started the wrapping process yet!! I still need to buy some little trinkets to put in my kids' stockings, but that will just be a quick trip to the dollar store. Lucky you, now all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy.

Hi, I am not done with my shopping and I don;t think I am going to shop for this Christmas. SInce I am not going back to my hometown, therefore, there is no need for me to shop for this coming Christmas. ALthough sales are going on here and there, but I have to save my money for my house renovation.

I am not done with our family christmas shopping yet:( My family usually shop 1 week before the christmas here in philippines. But on the next two day`s i am planning to buy a dress for our exchange gift:) I am amazed when you said that you earn AMAZON cards and but those things:) Im a bit jealous with you because i cant earn on survey sites because of the fact that there are no surveys available in the philippines:( I also found some great deals!:) Some market here in philippines has a 50% sale on their products:) So maybe ill check it out as soon as possible:)

Sorry to hear that many survey sites are unavailable to you...I wouldn't be able to get much for others for Christmas without the money I earn online. You might want to look at some survey sites....some do accept people from other countries.

I barley have started and I am not sure of how we are going to afford to buy anything else. I hope that the things that I did buy online are hits and I would like to find a studded belt for my daughter. I hope that I can find her a horse belt buckle too. I know of a store nearby that I would like to buy her some gifts from but I am not sure that it is going to happen.

I know...money is so tight this year...I'm really glad I had a bit from online work, or the grandkids wouldn't get half of what they are getting. You might want to check Ebay for thast stud belt...look at "buy it now" and "free shipping"...that's where I found the ones I bought.

I am almost done now. Usually my shopping is complete before Thanksgiving but have been in and out of the hospital so many times this year that I couldn't even start until after Thanksgiving. Mostly have had to shop via internet and giving a lot of gift cards this year. Hopefully next year will be better, assuming I survive this year. Between health issues and the economy it has been a rough year. I have always used Amazon with Mypoints credits and am very disappointed this year that Mypoints has dropped Amazon from participation. Guess I will have to find a new rewards program to use with Mypoints. Have a wonderful Christmas.

I am partly done my Christmas shopping. I have bought a tree and decorations for the tree. I have ordered my sister's presents as well as my Mam's but they have not yet been delivered. I have picked up my Uncle's present from the shops. I am going to get my Christmas shopping done this week, because I need to post off two Secret Santa presents next weekend. Along with presents, I need to buy some brown paper to wrap my presents in and some holly/mistletoe to decorate the packages. As for great deals, the best deal I found was a DAB Radio for £49 which was originally £99. Also I managed to get a 6ft artificial Christmas tree for £2.50 which my place of work were selling for about £18 last year.

Sounds like you have things pretty much under control. My tree is up and decorated, thanks to help from two of my grandchildren. About all I have left to do is a few more batches of cookies.

I'm nearly done with my Christmas shopping. Like you I brought a lot from Amazon, books,CD's and DVD's mainly plus a few gift sets and a camcorder. I'll finish shopping early this week, I've got a basket full more at Amazon that I'm getting ready to check out. Then it's just Christmas food but I'm going to order online and the supermarket can deliver that. eBay's good for bargains or hard to find stuff, Amazon are cheaper on some products and I sometimes use price comparison sites. Shops sometimes discount last minute but I don't like shopping that late, I don't need the stress.

Someone after my own heart I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon, and when I check Ebay for things, I always look at "buy it now" and "free shipping" offers. I do still have some food to buy, but I've been picking it up a little at a time.

I'm like you I am done except for my parents. Otherwise all the gifts are wrapped and under the tree already. This is the earliest I have ever accomplished this. I too did most of my shopping online. Its easier and especially if you get good deals with free shipping included. Alot of my gifts were being mailed from the company to my daughter so she can wrap and distribute because they live in New Mexico and I'm living in Puerto Rico. However, I think shopping online is so much better then dealing with crowds and long lines at the stores.

I couldn't agree with you more, and you save double by not have to mail packages to your daughter. Smart shopping. Amazon always has free shipping if you spend over $25 (which, any more, is very easy to do), and the only things I buy on Ebay are ones that have free shipping. Crowds and long lines are not my favorite thing. Since I have some problems walking, online shopping is a blessing.

It's very nice that you will be spending the hokidays with loved ones. You know, you can probably find inexpensive gifts...if you put your mind to it, you can find very appropriate gifts that come from the heart.
