I want to take a picture of my daughters hands and feet, but she is so squirmy and right now I don't have the best camera in the world. Is there any tips/tricks to gettinig her to stay still? I have the flash turned off because it looks unprofessional with it on..

I wonder if you could get some cute soft cuddly object that would capture her attention long enough so that she wouldn't be squirming all over? Other than that, maybe try putting her in a tight spot that will restrict her movements withoutn hurting her...I'm thinking like a carrier of some kind.

That might work too!

I don't have a child so I wouldn't know but perhaps you can take photos when she's sleeping? Some babies are super heavy sleepers but it depends. Good luck :) It'd be cute when you take pictures of little hands and feet :)

you can ask another person to hold your daughter in his arms, if she is still aquirmy, you can only take photos when she is aleep.

Some technical hints: You can increase the ISO value on your camera to avoid blurriness (but the noise will increase). Combine the flash with a longer exposure time, you'll have the details sharp and a more natural lighting all around. Don't know if that helps much but it's worth a try :)
