If there is strange meaning to your life and weird occurrences then perhaps it is a combination of both. Looking at what is going on with you will tell you what is either of them. You can look such things up on the internet.

My thinking is that hallucinations are occasional and temporary occurances, but if you are delusional it may be a sign of how you normally think, and that person doesn't "live in the real world" mentally.
