Cryptozoology and It's Reception

Hello there I am MC, the reason I am starting this discussion is to ask a couple questions. First let me start with the fact that I am avid fan of cultural myths and tales that could lead to the discovery of actual creatures in relation. Now I know that most myths can be explained away as simple misinterpretations but it's those that have no logical explanation that I am intrigued. So here are the questions: 1. Are you a Cryptozoology fan? If so how do you explain your interest to friends and family? 2. How would one go about making a living chasing down possibly mythical creatures barring being on a sci-fi channel show? 3. What are your favorite tales from the land of Cryptozoology?

YES! Actually for a while I wanted to be a cryptozoologist, but then I realized I'd never be able to sleep at night again(I get creeped out very easily by things like aliens and horror movies and mythical beasts and mystery, and then my paranoia gets super bad and makes it hard to sleep
