I do think that it is pretty important for people to have friends. I think that there are a lot of times, when we just need to have a friend around to talk to, and such. I think that it's just in human nature.

I definitely agree with you. Friends have a role in our lives and I can attest to that because I am going through a hard time and they are there for me. I appreceiate everything they did for me and I regret that I have taken them for granted some times. Yet, they lent their hands when tough times come.

hi kmaroon, Man is naturally born as a social being. By this, it means that he cannot live by himself alone. He needs persons around him. These persons are the people we can call friends. I think that even bad people have friends of their own. You are correct with what you say that they play important roles in our life. I can say that friends, especially those we almost treat as our own brothers and sisters make us to enjoy each day of our lives. They are like our angels who guide us and help us solve our problems. They are the one who supports us. They are the one who shares with our happiness, sadness, victories and failures. i can also say that they serve as an inspiration to each one of us. that is why we must treasure our friends all of the times.

Yes, I think friends are very important. Everyone is different though. Some people tend to do better just having a few close friends and others love having a large social group. I don't think it matters which you have or are a part of, as long as you have people you care about and can confide in. I am the type of person that just has a few close friends. I like keeping a small knit group of people I can trust and go to when I need someone to listen or that they can come to when they need a shoulder to lean on.
