Wiki leaks has certainly been the most sensational thing to happen this year. While it makes all the countries now think twice before saying anything even in secret, it does cause tensions between leaders and countries. Will it make countries more accountable and responsible or will it disintegrate chances of peace and harmony?

Wikileaks will not be able to chamge the world either to a better or a worse condition, it will only make the high ranking government officials a little bit more cautious during their exchange of informations.

There are always consequences to speaking thoughtlessly and without caution - wikileaks has proven that in a massive scale.

site trouble - can destroy us
Hello pistop , I think this site has broken trust of every major nations to each other. most specially it has broken the trust of World Leaders to keep the comments and suggestions about other nations to themselves. Now, that is out, it's going to be one hell of a tension. most specially with Countries seemed short fuse like North Korea and Iran In some points this person help expose the horrors of war. but secret talks has put a lot of pressure on Diplomats and ruining what have they worked so hard on...for the sake of World Peace, some deals had to be made..In my opinion, I fear WAR could come any time soon.

Wikileaks has already done irreparable damage to world relations. I doubt that it will make anyone more responsible, rather it will make getting along with them harder. It's like repeating gossip. You want to hurt people when you tell them the bad things someone said about them. This guy needs to be jailed before he causes more problems.

Assange has done nothing wrong. Wikileaks is an entire organisation, there's more than just him. If you jail Assange (its founder), you make him a martyr and Wikileaks will only get stronger. Further, he has done nothing. People give these documents to the Wikileaks organisation and Wikileaks publishes them. I'd be surprised if Assange had even read or known of the documents prior to their release.

Wikileaks has caused a sensation in the press and with certain members of the public but it has come as no surprise to politicians. They are quite used to saying one thing to your face and another behind your back. It is the nature of the job. No surprise there. I don't think it will change anything in the long term.

All all leaders and politicians that way. All the smiles and handshakes are definitely put on and enacted, but I was hoping that there would be some genuine concerns for each other.

Personally, my emailing and server usage hasn't changed. I have nothing to hide to "jeopardize national security" and in no way I'm "extremely careless" for WikiLeaks and or NSA to suspect me any criminal activity. Thanks to Wikileaks and NSA to expose the State Department of U.S.A. security breach by Hillary Clinton., Obama Administration. The public has every right to know what's been happening and push for justifiable investigations. Corruption has to stop!
