I have been using a NOKIA 5800 XM - symbian s60 v5 since last year. I like the symbian platform and the simplicity of it. However i hear a lot of praise of andriod os and iphone os. I have used android as a friend of mine has a galaxy 3 and it felt good . The android os is more customizable than symbian and modern -that is what i felt. I will buy an iphone after 3 years perhaps as i like the OS and the number of apps available. I have about 160 apps in my nokia 5800 that helps me do anything that a power smartphone user does with his phone. I do not know much about blackberry.Anyone might add it on reply. What about you friend, and what's your opinion on the subject? Let's have a fruitful discussion..

Till now I have tried iPhone, Symbian and Microsoft. Unfortunately I dint get chance to try my hands on the android (hopefully soon I will have one). I found iPhone Os superb, best part of it is GUI. And touch screen sensitivity. Also there are large number of application whcih are available for free as well as paid downloads. unlike Windows it does not hang. I admit symbian is good one but iPhone is best one for easiest availability of the custom applications. Only disadvantage is it does not support flash. It is secure as well.

I don't know anything about the symbian OS, as I don't know what it is. Anyway, I have the Android OS and I really like it. I like the fact that it has lots of apps like the iphone has. I have downloaded and installed a few apps and games, but not a lot as of yet. There are paid apps and games and also free ones. I only put the free ones on my phone for now, as I just can't afford to buy them, as it can become quite expensive. I do have an ipod touch which is basically like the ipone, but without the calling feature. I have installed several games and apps on it too. I do think though that the Android OS has a lot more apps and games from the market. I am glad I bought the Android as I am enjoying it very much. Take care, and have a very good day.l
