All over the country, energy drinks that contain alcohol are being banned and pulled off shelves. This move comes after several under age people nearly died as a result of over-consuming such drinks. The FDA has never approved the mixing of alcohol and caffeine. Although I understand the motive behind the ban, I have several issues with this kind of prohibition. 1.) While they are banning alcoholic energy drinks, they still allow for bars and clubs to serve vodka and redbull, or monster and yager meister. 2.) The people involved in the incidents that caused these bans were underage and were binge drinking large amounts of the drink. What do you think about this latest move?

The difference is what is available to young children and what is available to adults. Rum and coke anyone? It's been done.
