impressed with Gambhir's captaincy so far?

hi friends. so gambhir has the rare chance of captaining india and he is using it well. infact i am not wrong he got one of the better starts than most captain with the bat. anyway how was gambhir's captaincy so far? you can say he won all 3 matches so is not a big deal. but a match that has been won doesn't necessarily means that captain is good. for example, india scored 400 + batting first and the oppossition lost but they also got 400 + runs. can you say that they won because of great captaincy? simple as that. but gambhir has been ok. reminded me of good ol dada's days. the aggresive captain types. attacking even in the middle over. so what do you think?

India win the series with Newzealand huge marzine under the captaincy of Gambhir, but still one match is remaining between them.indai got three new player Parthiv patel,Praveen kumar but not the least Saurabh tiwary and Yusuf pathan who score highest run from his bat, to show his all-rounder performance.India will proud of them.we just pray they win all 5 ODI with Newzealand.

Yes, I am. But it is not the time to judge his captaincy. He has lead mere three matches till date. But the fact is he was in splendid batting form which single handly won the last two matches. Bowlers did well their job and never let the Kiwis to pile runs and Virat Kohli too contributed in all three matches. Dhoni is a regular skipper and there is no rumour that Gambhir will get his job for long time. Dhoni is the best bet for the selectors so far. But Gambhir has proved that he can able to perform this task if assigned to do. Plus opponent was too weak so we can properly judge Gambhir's captaincy better when he will face uphill task and face tough opponents only.

hmmm but either way we can all be proud of one thing though. we finally got a captain who wins the match not only with his INNOVATIVE captaincy but also with the BAT

It is too early to talk about his captainship. In fact, if I am not wrong, he was captain for Delhi Daredevils too, but he was a disappoint there. Obviously, this Kiwi team is very weak and the Indian Team is just bulldozing them. Captainship test has not come in Gambhir way till now.

He is doing quiet well, but we cant judge his captaincy with the performance he showed in this serires. surely Gambhir's captaincy has not disturbed his batting talent, thats a good thing. and the NZ team has already lost a series against Bangladesh, so they are running in out of form, so winning against them dont help to rate his captaincy. Another thing is that Every player in the team is playing well, you cant rate a captain in that situation also, because when every one do their job well, surely the team will win, then no nedd of captaincy. but in the absence of senior players Gambhir handeled the team superbly, winning tosses, making some good bowling changes, altogether the captaincy is ok.

Ya his captaincy was very good. Also he getting runs too. It means captaincy is not affecting his batting. In fact it has improved. He was very positive in the field through out. But there was no testing matches yet. Also Kiwi is not a strong team. Once he is leading the team against good teams only we can judge his captaincy. This is just very few games to judge. Any way we have now a good replacement for Dhoni when needed.

actually according to me it was not his captancy that made india to win it was his form and all other player forms which made india to win under his captancy. actually just to see the captancy of any person it takes time and can only bee seen proerpyl if he remains for long time where he has to decides player and take judgment in harsh condition. he was just made for few match and was given the ready made team. yes i agree that under pressure he played very well and alone made india to win the matches. so finally i want to say that atill i cannot say that he can be a good captain or he is a good captain.

Well,Gambhir has a done a fair job till now.But the time has not come yet that he could be compared for his captaincy. I must say that he had made a blunder in yesterday's match. After wining the toss he must not choose fielding on a rainy day. We are lucky that Pathan made it for us.Otherwise it could be D/L.And we would gone! Thanks.Have a nice day.

Thats 4 out of 4 for Gambhir in this series. Given his captaincy form, now Dhoni should start feeling insecure about him. Also this series once again proved, that Ravindra Jadeja does not deserve a place in the Indian team. Moreover, given today's performance of Yousuf Pathan, now selectors really have a tough job in hand to pick the team for the upcoming World Cup also is the case with picking final eleven as Yuvraj cannot be made to sit out.

I think the captaincy has improved him a lot.Till that he was finding it difficult to find form. But as far as he is concerned now he scored two consecutive centuries and that too match winning after he was assigned the job of leading team India. Also his his strategies was really dominating in the past three matches.I think he can be the real successor of Dhoni but at the same it is also difficult to judge him with his performance in only one series.

He is doing good maybe the future captain after Dhoni but we really need to make sure that he is up for the task so we need to see more of him and more wins from him obviously. He has been great as a captain and also great as an individual also as he scored two centuries now in the series in think.
