I noticed that I'm starting to like foods that I never liked before. I used to hate tomatoes and now I like them in my salad and on my sandwiches. I used to not like cheese when I was a kid and now I hardly eat anything without putting some kind of cheese on it. The same with fish, you couldn't get me to eat fish or shrimp but in the last couple of years I really love it.. So do you thing your taste buds change over the years?

. . .theres no proof that your taste buds change it is only a matter on how you accept the food you eat if you think that food is not good for then your mind sends signals to you that you have to take away of that food definitely you won't like it!! over years your taste for food change but it was not you buds change. . . . . .and since that our eagerness to food differ from one another thats why sometimes we mistaken that our taste for food changes.

Hi missy! Yup! They sure do! At least I know that mine have definitely changed. There are so many things that I wouldn't eat when I was younger that I eat now! I love veggies and hated them when I was a kid. There are still some I refuse to eat, but not many. I eat tomatoes now too and I used to not eat them either. My mom used to make cheesecake and I didn't eat that! Now I love cheesecake and think of what I missing all those years of thinking I didn't like it! What an idiot!

I just knew you agree with me, the funny thing is that I always liked Pizza and Lasagna and all the Italian Food but I could never eat a raw tomato till about a year ago. I take that back...I can eat them in a salad or a sandwich now but I still can't just bite in a raw tomato.

My tastebuds have changed over the years too. When I was a kid..I could taste a dash of salt a mile away and wanted no part of it. I like some salt now. I also never liked sweets...I was a weird kid..lol..but this guy that my grandfather knew that ran a little store would always give me a lolli pop everytime we went. I would taste it and toss it out...I soon aquired a taste for candy. Fish is something that I have actually came around to liking too. Tomatoes...me too. I didn't want any part of them until I was around twenty..lol..

nah! your taste buds did not change, it is you who changed. maybe something happened in your life that led you to like the things you don't like before. it is in the complexity of the human brain... very mystifying. :)
