whether are you answer questions actively in class?

I can say that I am an active member of the classroom. When I was younger, I was quite frustrated with this attitude of mine since I am usually the only one who keeps raising her hand to answer but is ignored because of the theory that students should participate more (and teachers should choose other students so they won't be accused of playing favorites). I guess you can overcome your problem by gradually trying to speak up little by little. Try to give comments when there is a discussion or ask questions. Being shy in the classroom will not help you especially in group activities and other forms of class dynamics.

hmmm...better start early pal. being attentive and active in class will help you boost your self-esteem. give it a try and get used to it. the only way is to motivate yourself.

Hi! We are so much the same! I am so shy and quiet in class and I can't always talk to the teacher. I am shy to recite and be active to the teacher's questions even if I know the answer. I think I cannot change it, I've always been like that ever since. I can still get good grades even if I don't raise my hand to the teacher.

Don't be shy at all..if you know the answer of the question..Stay it loudly..No problem if you are wrong..The teacher won't kill or laugh at you for this..Atleast she/he would be happy that you tried..Be familiar with your teachers and never stay quiet when you are asked to give the answer! ONly you can help you own self friend! You need to develop self-confidence. Without it you cannot manage to participate in class at all. If you think you studied hard and you know the answer to the question well, then don't think of other people around you! Just imagine you are alone in the room and that you're just practicing. Condition your mind to have that confidence. A person with no self-esteem and no self confidence will never get herself anywhere at all. So try and build your self-esteem!
