I would like to buy a solar panel for my house to save some money, but they are expensive! Are they going to get cheaper anytime soon?

You are right. They're expensive. Too expensive. Way, way, way too expensive! The government as well as industry have been subsidizing solar panels since the 1970's & have they really gotten much better? No! Currently, in this country, it is estimated to take about twenty five years just to break even on the purchase & installation price! No investor worth their salt would put their money behind such ridiculous returns; it's better investing in property where the value of median priced residential property doubles every ten years - proven track history. There are other much better, much, much cheaper ways of getting free electricity to power your household appliances. I have addressed this in other discussions I have started. Anyway, to answer your question, yes - maybe they will get a little bit cheaper, just as they have been since they were put into production, but it still doesn't change anything, the figures will still be around the same.

u can choose the thin film amorphous silicon solar modules, this module has a about 12% higher output than the normal crystl silicon solar panel, but the price is only about a half. and if u have question about this, u can just ask me.

Interesting idea but you are right about the price. I am starting to see being sold in my place but in a smaller capacity and those that can really be applied to our homes are not that affordable as of yet. But it is a good investment to have one as they can help us with generating some free power to our homes.
