According to the World Health Organisation, a sixth of the world's population is overweight - most of it due to the over-consumption of fast food and lack of exercise.
One of the mysteries of the world today is why do people want to eat junk food? It can't be just because it's fast. We've got no explanation, but it's a curse to the world
ITS NOT GOOD.. if you wanna know how.. here it goes.. ;et me try and explain.. Food that is tasty quite often has a high fat content or is quite sugary.
Now let's compare our top fast food chains, shall we?
Burgers

Restaurant Burger Type Calories Fat
McDonald's Big Mac 560 31g
Burger King Whopper 640 39g
Wendy's Single w/ everything 440 23g
Surprisingly, Burger King comes out on top calorie-wise and Wendy's happens to have the least nutritional content. Granted, all three burgers are different, but that's an undeniable factor when choosing any food -- opt to select the one that's healthiest.
French Fries (medium)

Restaurant Calories Fat
McDonald's 450 22g
Burger King 370 17g
Wendy's 420 20g
Also, watch out for sodium in fries because although excess sodium gets eliminated through the kidneys, in individuals who are sensitive to salt, high sodium intake has been linked to high blood pressure.
Chicken Burger

Restaurant Calories Fat
McDonald's 440 20g
Burger King 710 43g
Wendy's 450 20g
A lot of men choose chicken burgers thinking they'll be eating something more wholesome. Nothing could be further from the truth with Burger King.
Pizza (1 slice)

Restaurant Calories Fat
Domino's 210 9g
Pizza Hut 240 12g
Homemade pizza is much healthier than restaurant pizza considering you get to choose how much (or how little) of each ingredient to put. So maybe staying in isn't such a bad idea.
