so where are your abs hiding? are they still underneath that wiggly belly? lol. i've been asked so many times how i got the abs. there are even some who asks for my program so they'll follow it to get a flat belly. for all of you here who wants to know, the secret to a flat belly isn't crunches, sit-ups, curl-ups or whatever 'ups' you can come up with. it's about what you eat. your diet. those sit-ups can gain you some definition but in order for them to show, you first have to get rid of that fat in front of it and in order for them to go away, you need to do 'high intensity workouts'. you might have heard of this but let me explain what it is and what it does exactly. high intensity workouts, or let's just call it hiw, are workouts that gets your heart pumping to 80 percent of it's maximum heartbeat rate. it means you'll know when you're doing hiw when you're already gasping for air while running hard on a sunday morning. in a magazine i've read, it states that you can burn as much as 160 calories every 30 to 60 minutes of hiw. so how is it significant to me? well, an average person accumulates up to 2000 calories a day. it seems much already. so how is burning up 160 calories gonna help burn all that? your everyday activities lets you burn 60 percent of that 2000 which is equivalent to 1200 calories. add up 160 to 1200 and you'll get 1360 calories burned. you'll only have 640 calories to burn. ok, it isn't enough. or is it? high intensity workouts burn you that 160 when you are working out but after that, guess what? you'll still be burning calories cuz findings show that after a high intensity workout, your body will go into recovery mode where it recovers to pre-exercise state, the state where your body was in before you worked out and it also requires burning calories. this process takes up to 48 hours of calorie-burning frenzy. so even when you're sleeping you will still be burning calories. it's like saying goodbye slowly to that flabby, mushy, heavy belly you have. so how about that? when are you gonna stand up and burn those fat?

Hello Front Visions, The problem with me now a days is really my eating habits. i tend to eat too much rice when after having a serious 15 to 20 minute walk in the treadmill. and another 30 minute to an hour walk almost 2 to 5 kilometers. However, I never tried running since Some how i get tired and get hungry easily. however, if I bought new pairs or jugging pants i might put my new diet and exercise plan again by next year or next week.

That's ok. Try sprinting for 2 minutes then rest for 2 minutes. Keep doing this interval til you reach 1 km. The trick is to reach your peak performance several times. Just to the point when you can't go on, stop and then walk instead.

Hi frontvison101!. Flat belly is something I really want. Like most women I don't feel satisfied with it and sit up seem not work. I think I will try it recently I love running but I think I can not running for 30 minute without stop. I think I don't have endurance to do it. I usually run for one lap and just walk after it and running again, thats was the pattern. Do you think it will work.

Well, that's thirty minutes in summation. Doing it with warm ups in between is the real way on how you do it. It'll work for you. Just be consistent with it. If you can, keep doing it everyday.
