Well i ove 3d Television and one of my friends has one it is good and everything but the only problem is that you have too wear 3d glasses and they are really expensive at about $50-60 and pair and also eventually i think that Television will be like a holgram so it will be right in front of you and basically touchable. We have too remember though i guess they can only make a Television so good cant they or do you think they will keep making them better and better over the years?

I think 3d is over rated and I would not like it if it replaced regular tv. If it did, I wouldn't have much of a choice. It's like when flat tv's replaced the regular, I had to deal with that too. Just more changes that we can't stop from happening :)

I hate 3d, the world is 3d already, movies in 3d are just stunts to get more money. Also watching 3d movies still hurts a lot of people's eyes and the glasses typically hurt me for being too small to fit over my face and the glasses I already wear. Being uncomfortable for a few hours to watch crappy 3d (most 3d movies look a bit crap in 3d and look very fake to me), most of which have even worse plots (Avatar is the biggest example), is just a huge waste. Buying a 3d tv is even sillier as the technology will die off again like it has before, 3d is a fad that keeps popping up and this is at least it's second revival. Soon it will die off and we will be much better for it, except those people foolish enough to buy the 3d tvs, they will have a useless and over priced paper weight. If 3d were the true future every single movie would be in 3d, it's not. Why? Because it is a fad.

I haven't thought about that yet since I don't spend much time at TV, I don't really care how it looks or how it works, but if I heard right you need 3D glasses for 3D TV? Those glasses can have negative effect on some people as I've heard yet again. I'd like the old TV to stay but who knows what may happen...

yes 3D could be much more expensive. The only difference is that 3D has information of depth. But watching in 3D gives great sensations. Some movies are really good to be watched in 3D like avatar. Yea technology is growing like anything. so new things will keep on replacing old ones and sure some day holography will be used every where.
