Yes you read correct - my country got 0,30 meters of snow in the past two days and it keep cooming.
In City trafic is very slow and its dangerous to drive fast now. Snow keep coming and i dont know when it will end. yesterday i tried to ski a little bit near my house but that was almost impossible at the start because of huge, thick layer of snow. it was cool when snow layer was about 0.5-0.10meters thick, but now its too much for anyone. it takes too long time to get to work and back and i must take snow shovel always with me no matter where i drive with my car.
How about your country? You have snow already or still waiting for it?

We'll be lucky if we get a little bit of snow this year. Usually, it doesn't snow in my city but only on the mountains surrounding it. So far, there's no snow, not even on the mountains. It's been a really hot year and some people still wear T shirts here. I'm not much into winter sports but I would like to have a snowball fight or something since it's been a while. Consider yourself lucky.

We just had our first "real" snow this morning. Not a lot, just enough for a very thin covering on everything. I'm very happy that we didn't get more!
Last year at this time we had already had around 3 or 4 feet of snow, the first major snow storm being November 3rd which is extremely early and quite a lot for this area. We normally have around a foot of snow all season long but last year we got a grand total of over 8 feet of snow, so much that I had to buy a snowblower because shoveling that much snow was back-breaking. We have a sidewalk in front of our house that goes out to our driveway, which is around 70 feet long and maybe 10 feet wide, except where we park and that is around 15 feet wide... WAAAAY too much to shovel!
So, I'm extremely happy that we've only had a dusting of snow so far. We've had a few days where we had a few flurries but nothing accumulated. This morning was the first time I could call it "snowing". It was beautiful coming down and it's almost totally over (just a few flurries now) and that is the kind of snow I like to see... nothing to shovel! Yeah!!!!!
I do not envy you! I hope it stops snowing for you soon and you do not get trapped anywhere from the snow. Take care!

I must drive 30km to my half sister today, so i hole roads will be ok.

Hello IDivision,
Snow flurries here in or near Philadelphia Pa. Up north in the Poconos they are getting snow and more on Sunday. For us on Sunday rain probably cold rain or freezing rain. I like snow on Christmas when I am off not before or after because I have to shovel and deal with traffic too like you! It is never fun driving in it and where I drive many steep hills where cars and trucks slide backwards. I always give at least 500 feet or more room.
Thanks and have a great day!
Sincerely unqiue16

i hope you will have snow at least at christmas since rain could be too boring to watch at winter day by day.

Yeh here in the united kingdom we had snow just staying on the ground in my city for over 3 weeks. It was really annoying and slippy as we are normally a quite hot country and we dont normally get snow at this time of year so no one at all was prepared for it.I love snow except when it turns into ice.So i would love too live where you are at the moment having snowball fights and other cool things like snow angels also consider yourself lucky just think of the bright side of it as it is only here for a couple of months every year if any as sometimes in the uk we do not get any at all.

Good Morning dear friend iDivision , i live in Belgium for almost five years now ( well actually there will be five years in april next year ) and in all these years that i had lived here i cann tell you that the winter here it is not that great as i was used to , back in Roumania i was living in the capital of the country (Bucharest) , and almost every year we used to have snow of fourty - fifty centimetres thick , and i remember that every Christmas and New Year used to be Special , because of the snow , because it was snowing every year we had the snow on the Christmas Eve and the New Year Eve , and believe me , as a child it was creating me in my mind such a great view to have .
While back in Belgium , in these five years i've lived here , i only saw snow for two years , once of those two years would be this year , the snow started to poor exactly on the first of december and it was thick like back in roumania , because it snowed for three days in a Row ( I love winter and specially the Snow and seen when it poors from the sky ) , so i cann say that when it started snowing in the night of the First Of December i was soo happy , because it started remembering me of Winters back in Roumania.
One thing i do hope , is that it will snow again , and that it will specially snow again for those great Christmas and New year Eve's , because the snow makes those nights and HollyDays speciials in my eyes.
I wish you a great day and Happy Winter Hollydays.
Florin , Over and Out

Thanks for your response Florin. I live in latvia and you probably know that as we are much more to east from Belgium we have here more continental climate which means colder weather and longer winters, the same as from Romania my country is located much more in the north so there is colder than in Romania. Good luck to you too ;)
