I do love mylot... I really do, but lately I'm really getting tired of this. I get frustrated whenever I reply to a discussion and when I start to post it... it will just load FOREVER!!!
Why is mylot loads so SLOW! can they do anything about it? I know this is not because of my internet connection, I'm also doing my other online work and it's fine...
I'm ranting because I made a lot of effort answering questions and discussions but there! when I submit it it gave me that.... sigh!
are you experiencing this one too? I'm not enjoying here anymore.. that that is only because of that. I hope you understand my ranting, think about 5 - 10 liner and it wont submit and you can't copy paste it!!!! waaaahhH!! mylot.. please... work on this......

I really don't want to leave mylot because I enjoy it here, but sometimes my earnings here are affected by the problem... plus like what i've said it's hard when you typed in 6-10 liners and then that happens... it's destroying that climax...

I really feel for you. Reminds me of the time I just got my Blackberry. I could do everything at mylot with my mobile except replying! How terrible that feels as I am always on the move. I seriously hope someone can help you out here soon! Good luck and drop me a line if you need any help :)

I don't experience Mylot taking that long, I think pressing refresh will do it but not so sure if the data will be lost, think something like a dialogue box will come out asking you to resend the information or something
. Now about the copy paste thing, we can do that when we reach 500 posts, and I can see that you are already 300+ like me

Like you, I'd also think that if the site times out when you're sending a reply, it'll give you the option to resend when you refresh the page, but unfortunately it doesn't, when you refresh the page, you'll get back to a blank box for you to type in your response again! If you hit the back button of your browser, however, you would briefly see what you typed in but then the site's script will pop up saying you're not allowed to copy and paste yet, and you'll again be back with a blank reply box.

Hi dear,
Now you reached almost 322 and above. As this is the case you can do little bit short cut. Till you reach 500, you comment with one or 2 lines of comments and increased your number of posts till 500. After wards, you can go for detailed discussions and all.
The slow speed can be of many reasons and the next day it may be alright. So, do it till 500, go with small discussion and you can save time also.

I have only been on this site as a member for a few weeks and at the moment i love it and can not get enough time to spend on this site.I love to start a discussion as well as answer discussions, but i find it hard to keep up with all the responses that i get from the discussions that i start.I do not think that mylot is slow at all.

Well this use too happen too me a lot aswell but i find if you do not run so many things in the background then it will not do it and it will just load straight away like normal also dont get annoyed as it may not be mylots fault it might be a lose connection somewhere accross the lines anyway i hope you get it sorted out soon as it has done it a few times too me before and i get really annoyed so i know what you feel like i wrote a whole guide on triond and it loaded slow lol now that was even more annoying even if i do say so myself.

I just knew mylot from internet the day before yesterday , I typed "internet+English+Earning Money", it poped up the mylot, I learned I can earn very very little money through posting response. It is really little money, I calculated, I can make 3 response in one hour, I can only earn 0.03$, if it is 0.1 one response, it will be ok.

Don't know if it will help you or not, but I was having problem at work where sites from the internet were loading so slowly. I was using Intenet Explorer for my browser. When I switch to mozilla firefox, it is usually much faster.
If you want to stay with Internet Explorer, you might want to check some of the settings under options and see if there is anything you can change. I know there is a setting related to how often web sites update, which could slow you down.

I've been experiencing this as well and I know it can get frustrating especially since you are not allowed to copy and paste yet, you will need to type everything, (although it appears one can copy and paste short sentences even without reaching a 500 rating). I've just recently reached 500 so believe me I know how it feels but I didn't and won't leave mylot because of that. I'm sure these problems will be looked into by the admin, if not already, and they'll have it fixed.

I have days like that, and the I have days that mylot loads faster than my other programs I am working. It is weird but it is what it is.
I have lost posts because it didn't go through and I was hit with an error. I have found it happens but I just wait awhile to come back to try to answer it again.
I won't leave mylot, I will slow down when it goes REAL slow in a day.. then I am back the next hoping it is better. Usually is..:) Patients ..

I'm not experiencing this, but in about 2 years of being here..Of course I have! Take a break from it, and I mean a good one - stay off MyLot for about a week - maybe longer if you need it. I found that sometimes I got bored and burned out with it just because it was too much too soon - and taking breaks keeps things "fresh" in my opinion. It's an idea..
Oh P.S. Maybe how slow MyLot loads is just your computer. Have you thought about that? Because it loads totally fine for me! Maybe run Ccleaner or clear up some memory or something?

Well, why not have your connections checked? Mostly, it is all caused by bad connection. Try calling your internet service provide and have your line checked.

It has happened to me on occasion. I do notice do during early myLot hours while they are updating the earnings the site does run pretty slow. I have made it a recent habit to come after noon time, myLot time and find it much faster.

Well hi i was experiencing this my self and did not work on my lot for days but just today i found out that this was happening because i was using an older version of internet explorer, i am now on Fire fox and well boom it loads... :)

I had the same experience before. I felt that way too when it happened to me. I almost left mylot due to great frustration. I may want to repeat my discussions or my replies but it feels different from my original thought and I end up leaving the discussion and turning off my pc. I didn't log in for weeks frightened that things like that would happen again. It is the internet connection probably. Often times, we can still do other things while in my lot but mylot may need to be used with few sites only. Some sites may slow down the downloading due to heavy files. Hope this helps. You may restart your computer and avoid opening so many files especially facebook while you are in mylot.
