Some people drink beer just like water

On my trip to Kentucky, my friend and I were stop at a Mexican Restaurant to dine in for lunch. I saw there is a Mexican guy order a big pitcher of beer. I was curious, and awe by how much beer he is going to consume. He told me that this pitcher equal to 7 beers; and he can drink 3 of them. Wow, I just wonder if he ever get drunk. And how long would it take him to practice this technique. I have to admit, after one or two beers, I might still standing, but my face might already "red". Actually, how much beer can you drink?
