Microworkers - Problems?

I just joined microworkers since last two months. I failed one task. My successful rate dropped from 100% to 96%. I felt very unfair to me because the instruction given was misleading. It was about signing up the account at Youtube. Below is part of the instruction in the task: Required proof that task was finished 1. username:password Important: Use the format above. Do not write anything more in the proof box. An automatic Bot is used to check the submited accounts and validate them. All fake accounts will be rejected Proof submitted by you username:sweetbaby2u When you come across this instruction, 1. Username:password what will think in your mind? For me, I have the following assumptions: 1) The username should be the password. My username is sweetbaby2u. In according to the requested format, it should be username:sweetbaby2u 2) If I should show my both username and passwords to the employer of microworkers in the format as username:password, I just worry my account can be abused and casue me a lot of legal issues. I don't think the emploer of microworkers should be so silly by asking so. 3) If the employer of microworkers was really asking for my username and passwords, he or she should clearly state that I should forward my Username and Password in such format username:password. Do any of you think I were rejected fairly in my task. Another question about the instruction of modifying my signature in signing up the forum. Do anyone of you knowing the exact direction of modifying my signature ?

I would also assume they only wanted my username so that is all I would have issued as well. Early on I too got rejected unfairly by an employer as well. I followed full instructions so there were no reasons for the rejection. So what I did was put in for review. I never got reply but four days later got the task accepted. So my suggestion to you is to do the same and put it in for review by saying the same that the task asked that you only issue user name and that the rejection later stipulates it differently. It is worth the try and well the worst is that you go not get it and well no further loss but worth trying to get it. Good luck and hope you do get it as it certainly is unfair to reject when you followed instruction.

Oh also wanted to add that this way they are aware of unfair employers trying to scam employees such as us.

Thank you so much for your advise. I submitted my complaint for unfairness since One and a half week ago. There isn't any reply yet. ha! ha! I just have to becareful for not dropping the sucessful rate below 75%.

I am really sorry that this happened to you. I used microworkers for a while and even got paid by them. However I stopped using the site some time ago because they really dont pay that much per task. I have several other sites that I use that pay me way more money for less time. I mostly use article writing sites and survey sites to make my money.

The problem of microwrokers site for the members to retrieve their completed tasks has been rectified. In microworkers site, most of the tasks are accepting it's international members. Easily, the members can accept the tasks and earn for the credits. About the article writing sites, I have not tried them before. In my impression, they might be tough for the members to earn. About the survey sites, the most reliable in my past experience should be the globaltestmarket. However, I think we need a very long waiting period to get the suitable surveys to complete. There were many scam survey sites which I encountered too. In my opinion, microworkers should be the most popular for me.

I'm also with Microworkers for 2 months now and I have 2 reject task. I never encounter a problem with Youtube sign up because i join youtube 2 years ago. yes, you can ask the employers/admin to review again your work though I've never tried.

You are right. The admin should review our complaint as soon as possible. I am really hate and uncomfortable to see the RED dot in my account. Everytime, I hope I can remove this eyesore away from my vision.
