Racism

Remember when those of us who questioned Barack Obama's razor thin resume in pursuit of the highest office in the land? We were branded "haters" and called racists for suggesting he would be in over his head. Now, even the DemocRats are questioning his competency...some even saying things like, "f**k the President". Where are the shouts of "racism" towards them? Is it possible for a leftist to be a racist? (He asks, tongue firmly planted in cheek)

Yes, it is possible for a "leftist" to be a racist. I don't see why they'd follow a political philosophy that tries helping minorities though.

When I say "help," I mean that it's a political philosophy that clearly sets out - as one of its main goals - to defend the rights of minorities. Whether or not you agree with how politicians have put that into practice is a different story.

That depends on what you consider help. Is it really "help" when you lower the bar for someone because of their race or is it telling people that you believe they are too stupid or incompetent to succeed on their own and thus demotivating? Does it really help anyone when a group screams racism everytime someone objects to Obama's policies? I've heard so many people say that calling him a socialist is a racist attack despite the fact that pretty much ALL socialist countries are white.

Number one, Taskr, no one is lowering the bar for someone because of their race. Number two, I've seen morons of all races who should be told they're "too stupid or incompetent" for certain jobs and yet I've seen my fair share of Whites get high positions they shouldn't have because they were incompetent. And only a "minute", as you love to say, number of people shout "racism" when "someone objects to Obama's policies." Calling him a "socialist" is a racist attack since he is not a socialist. It is racist (which I tried to explain before MyLot took my post off) because racism is irrational in nature. Some of his policies might seem socialist, but it is irrational and illogical to call him a socialist any more than calling Great Britain, Israel, and Canada socialist countries because of their health care. I didn't hear Bill Clinton nor Jimmy Carter called a Socialist either, so why call Obama Socialist? I've heard the "minute" right call the Kennedy brothers Communists though. That too was very irrational.

Leading a country as overwhelmed with responsibility of lunatic wars, a collapsing economy made worst by oil spills, and a crumbling financial system as America is today is not very easy duty to do my dear friend! Am not a scholar of American History, but I could dare you to say, if Washington or Lincoln came back to the white house today, they could probably look nut Presidents. You dont need to have a very long CV to lead because leaders are not made, but they are born. How long was the CV of the Greatest American President A.Lincoln? 10 pages perhaps? Obama is trying to do too much at the same time, who could have done better? McCain or Sarah? Just hold your fire-Obama is on his way out-he did his best although I dont think you can see any good from Obama because you are opinionated already, just leave this guy who got to the American scene like Pop Star celeb alone for now to exit the stage when the time comes in the kind of sweet shame that will give you long rainless skies as you choose who takes the mantle. The tea Party has many white men and women to choose from, take you choice and we shall see how well they keep the world and of course, Americans economies vibrant! For now you cannot wish Obama away, he has a constitutional mandate, you could even bite a bullet in anguish, Obama will not go away until the four years are over, period!

You failed to address the question. Are the DemocRats who are now questioning Obama's competence to be labeled as "racist"?

Given the arrogance of obama, I guess he is content to have every body hate him. Of course the dems will come around cause they live off of the handouts. Two more years of obama failure and then he is gone. The historic president will be history and hopefully the voting public will have learned a valuable lesson.

I laugh my head off at anyone who calls anyone a racist for disagreeing with Prs. Obama. When he was beginning his primary campaign Black voters insisted he wasn't "really African American" lol

At least, with an African father and brother, he can truly use the term "African American". Most of the race pimps wouldn't know an African if he p*ssed on their head.

Isn't it interesting how when anyone considered a republican or conservative criticizes Obama, they are vilified and called racist. Now that he has alienated and angered some of his own party and when they criticize him, it is handled totally differently, not only by his supporters and other party members, but by the liberal media as well. Can you imagine the outrage if it was a republican that said f**k the president? Oh, they'd be beside themselves. It was a democrat though so they're downplaying it, covering for him and saying he was just frustrated. Ya, right... Nothing like a double standard.

Of course a leftist can be racist. But what Democrat said that Obama was over his head? Please show the link? The President is darned if he does and darned if he doesn't. I know what it means to need (in absence of finding a job) my unemployment benefits and can't fault him for "compromising" so close to Christmas time. And yet I must add that like one myLotter said earlier, there have been other President's whose resumes have been razor thin. One thing I must agree with you on though (which I tried to say on another post) is that some people who disagree with the President on many issues are unfairly and illogically dubbed racists.

Yes a lot of leftists are the biggest racists. Explain Affirmative Action. They are mum on the R word because it is them. They are trying to look like they listened to the public. But if they had, they would have gotten something done by now.
