I don't really send out Christmas cards. I just wish my friends and family a Merry Christmas wither online or via text message.

I think so too. Plus, the mail system here in the Philippines is really whack. It's literally SNAIL mail.

I send just a few cards to family who are out of town. Haven't sent any this year and feel bad about it. Didn't have enough sense to plan ahead this year and ran into a snag after having eye surgery almost a week ago. Am seeing lopsided until next week when I have the other eye surgically repaired. Then I should be able to see like superman or maybe I should say superwoman!

This year I actually decided not to make out formal Christmas cards to mail because of the expense that is involved in doing that. Instead, I will be making my Christmas card on the computer and I will mail it out to all of my friends and family on Christmas Eve. That way everyone will be able to open their email on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and be able to see our warm holiday wishes to them without us having to invest money in them.

I only send out a very few, and they're gone already. Usually, though, someone sends me one that I don't expect and so I feel obligated to send them one, too, so I might not be done yet. We shall see. I do send a few email cards to people who are online quite a bit.

Mine went out on December 1st. I wanted to get things done nice and early, to make sure that there was no running around like crazy, when it got to the second half of the month. Also, we are going out of town for Christmas, so we wanted to use the rest of the month to put the finishing touches on our plans.

Hi Jill. I usually have all of my Christmas cards stamped and addressed to be sent the day after Thanksgiving but this year. I haven't so much as ordered them and feel it's too late to now. Too much went on before Thanksgiving that I just forgot. It'll be my first in a number of years.

I did not send out any cards this year in an effort to cut down a little on expenses. This is my first year of not sending and I am feeling so guilty, as despite having sent out an email to everyone that I was not sending any cards, I still receiving!
But the price of cards is exorbitant and the cost of postage has been raised yet again. Just too much extra to pay.
Of course if I had your talent then I would make my own

I've never sent out Christmas cards. The only thing I've done before is make a bunch of spiky origami balls out of 30 post it notes each and fill it with chocolate candy and give to my gymnastics teammates. I've also given out little body sprays too. I think I'll be on my sister's Christmas cards however. There's a picture of us sitting on a beach looking very retro.

Most likely I won't get to the Christmas cards (I haven't done it in a couple years now). I know I can simply buy cards, but I am so stubborn about making my own - but then I never get to it since I'm so busy with my kids . . . so then it doesn't get sent out at all. I have however emailed out Christmas messages in the past. So this year I think I will send a personal message and photo on Facebook to everyone - ok, so it's not a "card", but at least I will be saying seasons greetings to all.
